The Chosen Bride

The Chosen Bride

That caused my eyebrows to raise and my cheeks to blush. "Well... If you like that mix, maybe 'Story of O' by Pauline Réage, 'The Lover' by Marguerite Duras, 'Tropic of Cancer' by Henry Miller, or 'Delta of Venus' by Anaïs Nin could be recommended," I suggested, my face burning. These were considered significant works of erotic literature, but at the same time, they were quite scandalous. "Did you enjoy them?" he asked with a slightly huskier voice. "I like forming my own opinions."

In My Professor's Arms

In My Professor's Arms

" She laughs, low, and leads me inside, her hips swaying just enough to catch my eye. I clench my fists, forcing myself to look at the city skyline twinkling outside the windows. We sit, the table a fragile barrier between us, plates of asparagus and roasted lamb steaming in the candlelight. The wine is robust, a deep red that stains her lips when she drinks. "So, AURORA PRESS," she says, leaning forward, her blouse dipping to show a hint of cleavage. "Erotica and literary fiction. Brave choice, Victor." Her tone is inquiring, but her eyes have a spark, a challenge. I nod, my throat tight. "I think I'm done with just Philosophy and lecture halls. I should start aiming to print erotic stories

FAKING LOVE

FAKING LOVE

She merely chuckled in response, rich and knowing. "Then you've clearly misinterpreted the dear thing's wholesome intentions, I fear," Lilly sighed dramatically. "Because from my literary trainspotter's perch, connecting on such an exalted cerebral plane appears to be foreplay in full swing for your enigmatic young ghostwriter." Once more, the memory of Chris's intense stare and resonating timbre rising in fervent defense of feminine perspectives enshrined through erotic literature crashed over me unbidden. The memory sparked an unexpected frisson low in my abdomen - one that spoke of anything but sanitized literary discourse.

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet

He rubbed his shin, where I just kicked him while gaping at his idiocy. “Seriously! How can you even say that? Erotica basically means fucking anyone within a 10 meters radius! Romance means it has a storyline and the characters are faithful!” I explained to him, flailing my hands around me. “O-kay... I’ll pretend I understood that.” Dodging another kick, he rose from his chair and began putting his books back inside his bag. “I need to head back now. Mom had a night-and-day shift, so I have to cook dinner. See you on Monday!”

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!
