I scrolled through the limited selection of DVDs—mostly action flicks and thrillers that made me know it was his taste, until one caught my eye. Fifty Shades of Grey. I'd heard about it from friends back home, all giggles and whispers about the steamy scenes, but I'd never watched it because of my sheltered life and all that. Tonight, with frustration bubbling under my skin and that lingering heat I felt from Viktor's earlier grab, it felt like the perfect rebellion. I popped it in, cranked the volume high to drown out the silence of the cabin, and settled onto the couch, pulling a blanket over my lap for some semblance of coziness.

We were focusing on the 1800's and the flow of Jane Austen's words. I've read the book before so I know what's going to happen & I watched the movie, but let me just say this: ITS TOTALLY OVERHYPED. It's not overrated, but it's overhyped. Do you understand the difference? If not, I don't have the time to explain it. I'm not saying that it isn't a great book— because, trust me it is,— but I didn't get why everyone was especially fascinated with it. See? I can't explain it. I tried so hard to focus today, but my mind kept wandering to daydream instead.

I'm so proud of that girl. Raynard's been busy this past months... and oh, how I pity him. I can't wait to get this marriage over with. I laugh remembering how I almost proposed to him. I was in such a haste. I just saw something disbelieving right now. Can you imagine an author reviewing her own book? I find it odd!! LMAO. But hey guys.... I don't think she did so bad.... you guys should kindly leave a review on this book. It doesn't really have to be good. lol... I don't know about that tho.

The cover had a picture of the naked anatomy of a man and woman embracing each other sensually and the title read, ‘100 ways to spice up your life.' “If this is what you were here searching for in the library then I don’t think I have any problem,” he laughed patronizingly, and flicking through the pages he stopped at one and reading the words on it he continued, “Try being intimate in random or unfamiliar places-”

Everyone seemed dressed to the nines like Klein was, a glass of wine in their hands. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Klein announced. “Our newest member, Chloe Whitman.” Everyone raised their glass up, and Klein slipped one into my hands. “The book of the evening is this,” he said, tapping a book next to me. “Just relax.” I sat down and opened the book, a shocked gasp escaping my lips. It was subtle erotica, yet everyone seemed so engrossed in it. Klein stood in the middle, his voice booming as he read paragraphs of p**n like material, and I squirmed in my seat.
