She didn’t know the official name, but she’d dubbed them rainbow flowers. She needed to face it. She was falling hard and fast for the two shifters. While she’d been skeptical of Brecc, his personality reminded her somewhat of her own. He’d been emotionally lonely and she knew exactly how that felt. The flapping of something in the air made her glance up. She cursed when she saw a giant purple dragon swoop down. It came down fast. The dragon curled claws around her and took off so fast she didn’t get a chance to really make out what was going on. Glancing through the claws, she saw Brecc and Eros shift into white wolves and chase after the dragon that had her in its claws.

She looked at the entrance and saw her cousin, Rainbow. “Rainbow!” Luna got on her feet and went over to Rainbow. “Luna!” Rainbow smiled at her sweetly. The two beautiful girls shared a warm hug. Emily looped her arms around his neck, still smiling. Then she kissed him. The warmth between them spread instantly again. Damien kissed her slowly while the waterfall roared softly behind them. Emily melted into him naturally, her fingers sliding into his damp hair while his hands rested securely against her waist beneath the water. Then suddenly… Light shimmered around them. Emily pulled back slightly. A rainbow had formed through the waterfall mist above them, bright and vivid beneath the afternoon sunlight. Along the edges of the water, flowers that had still been closed moments earlier slowly bloomed open one after another in bursts of color.

She huffed, but uncrossed her arms. "Well? Aren't you going to tell me who it is?" She was giddy to hear. "It's Rain." I cut straight to the point, no beating around the bush here. She furrowed her brows, shaking her head at me. She was confused and it was clearly read on her face. "What do you mean? Rain is Charles' mate, she can't be your chosen one Eryn." She sounded sad to me. "She has two mates it seems. Her wolf told her about me after she got some elf magic in her. So Rain is mated to Charles and myself."
