Should we not wait for your dad?” I asked Freddie. “Dad?” He looked confused. “You know the Council Member.” Freddie snickers. “That would be me.” I’m shocked. I always thought Council Members were old grumpy men who wear suits to work and take life too seriously. But Freddie is the total opposite. He’s young, trendy and friendly.

With a powerful tug, he pulled both of his arms up and stretched. “Well, I basically set our death dates with my stupid actions.” I muttered and turned to find him shaking his head with a smile, his dirty blonde curls following the movements. “Do you think this is the first time you’ve gotten us into trouble? Do you not remember the time you stole that apple from the salesperson? Or the time you threw a book at the guard on Grover street? Or the time you-,” “Alright, alright, I got it.” I chuckle as he nudged my side.

I think the guys were really nice for indulging me. Especially Gio who looked like he wanted to throw up after the third rollercoaster ride. Which lead to Freedy calling him a pussy and making a comment about how Gio can cut open a man's chest and pull his insides out while a ordering pizza. But rollercosters freaked him out.

"Do you know the sound of a pig being slaughtered?", Frey asked and scooped the soup into his mouth. "I think I head one tonight. Couldn't sleep because of the squealing." Some heads nodded approvingly. Frey hopefully made puppy-eyes at the girl by his side "C'mon, Lady Kathrine, let's look for the corpse. It might still be out there!" He always had the weirdest hobbies. Or maybe he just used every possible way out of boredom.

All he asked was, "Jefferson, how is Freya right now?" Jefferson stared at him and said coldly, "She will be detained for the time being." "Freya wouldn't murder anyone! She definitely wouldn't!" When Freddy heard Jefferson's reply, his anxiety spiked once again. If it had been anyone else, he would have rushed towards them and beat them up. However, it was Jefferson who he was speaking to. Beating him up? What a joke. Freddy would be cowering and backing up against the wall. It had only been two days since Florence showed up, but Freddy had lost a lot of weight within that short period of time. The stubble on his face added years to his appearance, making him look pitiful.

He is very gentle with me, sort of like an oversized, blonde puppy. He is actually taller than Lucas, but not quite as swole. Freddy is more cut. I grab the hem of my jeans. “Promise not to get inside my head even when I’m without my vervain.” He places his hand on his chest with a smile, and I try not to check out his abs. “I promise not to read your mind...now, will you please undress?”

It was Jack. "Annie! Did you take money from the company? Five million dollars is missing from the accounts!"

While Charlotte was still processing the surprise, a conversation unfolded behind her. "Go back to where you belong." "Can't I stay here?" Freddie asked. Charlotte walked out of the door and into the courtyard. Julie's face was still close to the camera. Charlotte asked, "Scoundrel? You mean Freddie?" "Yeah! He's a nasty guy! He loves to bully people! He’s a scoundrel!" Charlotte thought for a moment, not entirely surprised. Freddie appeared to be about eighteen or nineteen, so a bit of rebelliousness was normal.

I saw Freddy, the man who had introduced me to the place, and wondered Was he Roxies protector now? Freddy was a very handsome man, Id give him that, and hed never had problems with women. Those brown puppy dog eyes and blond hair kept the ladies on a leash, begging to take care of him. I, on the other hand, had black hair, dark gray eyes and was so tall and broad women often found me intimidating. If the broadness had been fat, it might have softened my appearance a bit, but every inch of me was covered in muscle. I worked hard to maintain my health, and I didnt allow an ounce of fat to form on me.
