The student glanced up but saw nothing above. Gildeon did. Ghulik was up there, clinging to the ceiling like some grotesque insect. Thick strings of saliva dangled from his gaping maw. He’d doubled in size. Veins bulged beneath his pale gray skin, pulsing like trapped worms. His eyes glowed crimson, the pupils now gone. ‘Ghulik!’ Gildeon called out, telepathically. Nothing. The goblin didn’t flinch. Its gaze darted across the crowd below, scanning for the next victim.

Blood flecked it's thin lips, but Bailey only shook it. "How dare you." She hissed. "How dare you touch what is mine." Blisters rose on the Goblin's gray leathery skin, "I don't know who this Arawn is, but here's a message for your 'Lord', if he seeks to harm what is mine, I will raze his flesh from his bones and piss in his ashes." Bailey flung the goblin and it smacked against a tree. It pulled itself up, it's mangled face a mask of terror before it loped off into the darkness. Bailey turned to Tobin, on the ground and unnaturally still. Dark stains married his pale skin and his leg was at an odd angle. he then subtly nodded the man's way again to hint at me to look again. I did so. This time I noticed something strange about the man and it wasn't his height and proportions. His ears were somewhat misshaped though not quite pointed. I hummed out a little sound and then looked back to Rem and asked, "a goblin?" "Bingo," Rem grinned back at me. "He's harmless, I've seen him around quite a bit in this area, most goblins are a bit feisty though, so it is always a good idea to keep an eye on them but as long as they don't show their true form when angry, they can be left alone."

I almost vomit from the stench of its breath, my stomach curling uncomfortably. I can feel my nose hairs burning. Lifting my gaze slightly, I lock eyes with the yellow, menacing eyes of a large Goblin. Its wrists, neck, nose, ears ankles all cuffed in pieces of stolen gold. Its inky black body hovers over me, and I try not to react too harshly. "Valerie, warp to me," Jaxson growls through our mind-link. I try not to flicker my gaze to him again, keeping my fearless watch locked on the Goblin.
