Novelas y relatos de Goddess Bless You From Death

I run to them and give them the biggest hug. "Did we win?" Is the first thing that comes out of my mouth. I need to know I didn't leave everyone with a war to fight without us. "Yes my darling daughter, you won. I am so sorry you three had to lose your lives to win this war. That was never my intention, but I am so proud of all of you." The Goddess is the one to answer my question. She sounds genuinely upset about us dying. I glance over at her and notice her eyes are watery. "It's ok. We died protecting those that needed it. I am not upset that I died to win this war. The wolves will finally know peace." i give her a sad smile.

She noted that the goddess looked tired and her light had dimmed. “This will help you. This will ensure your child can withstand what you need to do. Use my blessing wisely, I only get to give one out every few centuries.” The goddess smiled. “Your light?” Nora whispered. “It takes a part of me each time I do it.” The goddess said letting go of her hand and touching her cheek. “You are so very special Nora. Go save the world.” The goddess whispered and tapped her on the forehead. Nora’s head fell back and she crashed onto her bed. Her head hitting the bed made her jolt up. She was out of breath as if she had been running.

Aurora hugged me from behind, and in that moment, we savored our life together, a precious interlude of peace and love. Time seemed to stand still, and then, almost imperceptibly, a warm feeling enveloped us, accompanied by a soft, glittering light. A voice, serene and omnipresent, resonated in our minds, "The Moon Goddess blesses the Alpha King and the Luna Queen of this millennium." In those final moments, as the dawn heralded the beginning of a new day, the blessing felt like a gentle farewell to a world I had strived to protect, leaving behind a legacy of peace, love, and the promise of a better future.

Speaking directly for the first time since Bestowing the Immortality blessing. "My daughter," the Goddess said. Her voice had a weight and a sorrow that hurt my chest. “You have found the last plan of the old order. To reveal my imperfection. To mass reject and thus invert my blessing into a curse. Now, before you enter this conversation, you should know something.”

"That's not—" "You died when you were just ten years old." I stiffened. The man's voice trembled as he continued, his pain laid bare. "We buried you inside the Gagnac. We thought that was the end. But then… we heard rumors of a new goddess, one who bore your exact face, your exact soul." He exhaled heavily. "You weren't Freya anymore. You were Athena. The lake of Gayank gave you power, brought you back—but at a cost."

She had blessed Cassy with the child, therefore blessing her favored Alpha, Lino. What had occurred was a fluke that needed to be corrected and the Goddess understood the vengeance that had been invoked. She was the mother of all, and she very well understood what losing one child meant. After all, she had felt it when the unborn child of her Favored had died. That which was lost would be recovered. So, the Moon Goddess stretched a hand over Cassy's lifeless body and she spoke one word. "Live." The ground shook, rallying against the power of the One True Goddess, and poured forth into Cassy, filling her with the very essence of life.

She asked, and I narrowed my eyes at her, my breathing slow and heavy as her words sank in. “Because of fate,” she whispered, her voice dropping lower as she leaned back, her lips pulling into a wilder grin. “The end of humans’ fate is death. Death is something no human can escape. Death is salvation. Death is…” She ran her tongue over her fangs in a slow, deliberate motion. “Another gift bestowed by the Goddess to humans. So, pretty Lilith…”

Her words died as the wind rose. "Happy twenty-first birthday to us," I said. I looked up above Isabell at the sky then lifted my hand with Kira's in it. The wind whipped around us. My voice rose over the wind. "Accept this offering, combined the fracture to make us whole again. Grant us immeasurable power to balance the realms. I plead with the Juno, goddess of life, give us your blessing!" The wind twisted around us, blotting out Isabell and Matei. My body hummed and sang. Light erupted from where our hands touched. The earth shuddered beneath our feet.

Alright, well, let's hope it’s not too earth-shattering. “When I visited Death, I asked him how to protect you from Cerberus. It turns out all I had to do was take your virginity and claim your body. Since that’s already happened, you are safe. We can go back home whenever we need to. Another thing Death told me was that we need to see my bio mom, Mags. She will help us figure out why you are blessed.” Alright, that's not horrifying. “Couldn’t Death just tell you why I’m blessed?”

“Look…the archives suggest that…what you did was invoke a different type of beam. It’s still from the Goddess. It’s still a form of blessing in a way…” “I don’t think there’s any way to package the fact I bring death to people as a blessing Mama, but thank you for trying,” but just as I feel myself spiralling, Cyrus’s huge hand grasps mine under the table. He loves me. I love him. I reset myself with a deep breath. “Even with what happened that night…Do you both still love me? This blessing doesn’t change, that does it?”
