I pretended not to notice the way his gaze dropped to them before snapping back to my face. “Looking for something specific?” he asked, voice deep and rough, like he didn’t use it much. “Something tall and thick,” I said, letting the double meaning hang in the air as I walked closer. “Fraser fir. Biggest one you’ve got left.” He smirked, just a flicker at the corner of his mouth, and led me toward the back of the lot where the premium trees were stacked. The scent of fresh pine was everywhere, sharp and intoxicating. We stopped in front of a beautiful eight-footer, full and perfect.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

At this time, Nine Netherbird also became excited and urged Zephyr Khan, "Zephyr Khan, hurry up! As long as we succeed in refining the Black Evil Forest this time, we won't have to worry about cultivation resources for the rest of our lives!" It could be seen that the Nine Netherbird was very excited in the face of such an opportunity that was enough to drive anyone crazy. Zephyr Khan smiled and nodded. "Don't worry! I'll do my best!" However! In this hundredfold region of gravity, the closer one got to the center, the more terrifying the gravity would be! Not long after! The gravity suppression on Zephyr Khan had increased by 150 times! Under the pressure of such an exaggerated gravity, eve

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Whispers of Stardust: A Cursed Destiny

Whispers of Stardust: A Cursed Destiny

But as we move away, I sense its satisfaction—not disappointment at losing prey, but pleasure at having gathered data about our abilities and responses. The afternoon brings increasingly surreal challenges. A section of forest where gravity operates sideways, forcing us to climb through trees that grow perpendicular to the ground. A valley filled with mist that shows visions of other times and places—glimpses of what this area looked like before the corruption, mixed with possible futures where the contamination has spread across entire continents.

Only You Can Be My Wife

Only You Can Be My Wife

*** Elizabeth, who fell down the mountain, rolled countless times in her scream. She pressed down the weeds along the way and rolled down. Halfway, she wanted to grab something so that she could stop. But the slope is a little steep. The momentum of her rolling down was great. The grass she reached out to grab several times was ripped off because it couldn't hold that force and her weight. In the end, she happened to hit the trunk of a big tree. After that, she finally stopped rolling down the mountain. But she didn't feel better. Her back hit the tree trunk. She felt as if she had broken a few ribs. She was in such pain that she broke into a cold sweat and couldn't even make a sound.

Beneath the Howling Pines

Beneath the Howling Pines

The forest smelled different at night—sharper, colder, like the world held its breath waiting for something to break. I moved silently between the ancient pines, my senses stretched taut like a bowstring. Elena’s scent was faint but unmistakable, threading through the underbrush like a silver thread weaving through dark fabric. I followed it, heart pounding beneath my ribs. She was close. Too close for comfort, yet just out of reach. The moon hung low and full, casting pale light that flickered through the canopy, painting the forest floor with ghostly patterns.

The Ex-wife's Secret Empire: Beg For Me, Mr Blackwood

The Ex-wife's Secret Empire: Beg For Me, Mr Blackwood

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 The fall was not a clean drop; it was a chaotic, bone-jarring descent through a forest of splintering glass and severed data cables. As the inner sanctum of the Spire disintegrated, Maya felt the stomach-flipping lurch of zero gravity, followed immediately by the crushing weight of the Spire’s erratic artificial atmosphere. The air was thick with the smell of ozone, burnt silicon, and the metallic tang of the English Channel’s spray, which was being sucked upward into the vortex created by the Spire’s collapse.

Claimed By The Lycan King

Claimed By The Lycan King

"We're almost there." Through the trees, I caught glimpses of a sprawling structure—weathered gray stone and dark timber, designed to blend with the forest rather than stand apart from it. Whispering Pines Estate. The name had seemed innocuous in reports, but now it loomed in my mind like a designation from a horror story.

My Obsessive Ex

My Obsessive Ex

She didn’t forget to reassure that the branch where the nest lying was strong enough and unbreakable easily. “Ouch!” Qeiza screamed. When she got down, she was a bit careless. It caused her slip before she could stand on the base of the branch. Qeiza kept directing her gaze at the maple leaves that had changed their color. They were getting more beautiful in the fall. However, when her body was sliding fast following the gravitational pull of the earth, Qeiza closed her eyes. It’s better for her not to know how far she fell down. All of that was meant to keep her from thinking about the pain she would feel when her back hit the ground covered by the fallen leaves.

Just like what you've asked for in your post, I won't comment much on the other part of the story. Your English is superb. It is superb in a way that it is natural and smooth. Neither does it sound awkward nor contains grammatically incorrect statements.

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The spring on the Silver Moon had settled into a lush, vibrant equilibrium that felt like a living prayer. The "Ancestral Grove" was no longer just a place of memory; it was the biological furnace of the mountain, where the silver lilies grew in such dense, glowing clusters that the night never truly reached the forest floor. I stood in the center of the grove, my amethyst eyes scanning the roots of the original white cedar. My heart beat a steady, peaceful sixty beats per minute, a rhythm that was now the rhythmic standard for every living thing on this planet.

Gravity

Gravity

With the Sinclair family dead, he could sleep peacefully once more. He drove back to the campsite and bought dinner on his way there. He uncuffed Juniper and smiled at his own little secret. He had been secretly giving her mistletoe. It wasn’t fatal to wolves but caused drowsiness, blurred vision, vomiting and sometimes seizures when you were human.
