That explains your aura,” he said. I tried to hide my shock. I was not aware there were people who have such thorough detail about my mother. It made me relax, giving me a sense of safety that I did not need to hide from him. “My aura?” I repeated, giving him a teasing smirk.

Asher’s pov I opened my eyes to see the old house and I gulped loudly as I vaguely remembers the small hut. It was the same hut I visited with alpha. Hut of the witch, Hecate. Hecate, the trivia, the goddess, the most powerful witch and the god of the cosmos. She was the first to bestow her power to the witches. Theia comments, distracting me from my thoughts. “How so?” I ask. “What of Hecate? Why not mention her role?” Theia responds bored. “Hecate? Isn’t she the three faced Goddess? Why would a wolf call out to her?” I ask unsure of the connection. “The witches follow her.” Theia responds. “Last I checked, no one in the story is a witch.” I say rolling my eyes. “Then you don’t know the story.” Theia says, yawning.

This bashful maiden act has got to go. She grabs my chin with her thumb and fore finger making me look at her. “I’m Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, magic, and ghosts. And on to you I grant access to my powers, may you use them wisely and may they help you on your quest.” She leaned forward resting her forehead against mine while running her hands down my arms. When she interlaced her fingers with mine, I felt this shock, and a surge of power ran through me. But I could finally truly see her. Hecate’s aura was lilac as were her eyes.
