The Alpha’s Unbroken Mate
The mark on my wrist glowed, soft at first, then brighter, threads of light spiraling up my arm like veins of fire.
When I spoke, the words weren’t entirely mine. They came from somewhere deeper ancient and cold, a place between heartbeat and silence.
“I am the Harbinger,” I said, voice echoing through the cavern. “Bearer of the Moon’s flame. I do not bow to shadow or to god. My blood is oath, my light is blade, and I swear upon both this night, none shall take what is mine.”
The mark flared. A surge of power shot through the floor, rippling outward like an earthquake. The walls hummed, the runes on the altar blazing to life after centuries of sleep.
