She smelled like sweet raspberry juice, fresh rain, and a delicate hint of vanilla that belonged only to her. A fragile scent. It was a smell that made his dominant Alpha instincts want to wrap her up, lock her away in the deepest part of his castle, and never let another living soul look at her again. Yesterday, when he had walked out onto that library and caught his own brother, Kaiden, brushing a strand of Hazel's hair away from her face, his mind had gone completely blank with a murderous rage.
