I reached for the shelves tagged Spell Books on Curses and took out one that caught my eye. It was a hardcover book. The cover was black, and on it was a gold imprint of a spell bottle. "Is it not funny how we keep meeting in unexpected places?" Prince Daryl's voice was small, careful not to enrage the librarian whose hawk eyes followed every movement of the students in the library. But even when it was a whisper, it still sent stills of caresses down my spine. "Perhaps you are stalking me, your Highness," I said, struggling to keep a blank face.

We waved at the librarian who regarded us sharply from the rim of her glasses before returning back to the book she had been reading. "Alright, it's around this corner," Magnus said as he led me to the far end of the left wing of the building. The place was tagged 'Earthworms' and had big books on the shelves which all looked untouched. "What sort of silly section is this? Who studies earthworms?" I said, laughing out loud. "Exactly, which is why it is a perfect place to hide Dickens." He said, with a chuckle.
