After The Vows
Harry said, calm but firm.
I let him lead me, enjoying how he treated me like a queen. The stylist guided me to a chair, and I sat. The salon didn't have many people in there just two other ladies getting their manicures done.
Harry’s phone rang. He picked it up, brow furrowed as he spoke. I watched him pace, his voice low and tense.
“Is everything fine?” I asked softly.
“Yeah, of course, but I need to go now. There’s something I need to settle in the company. Here’s my card—clear the bills once you’re done.”
