Beneath The Alpha

Beneath The Alpha

Out in the heart of darkness he disposed of her body by the side for the death cart to collect during their nightly ventures and took the shortest path into the outskirts of the town, bypassing alleyways ridden with figures huddled in corners, peering out at him idly from malnourished skulls. The warm rain hit the sidewalk and steamed back up, forming little eddies of mist around Gerfast’s ankles. He felt the babe shift within his jacket, its little arms flailing and its mouth turning reflexively in search of a nipple. Steam boats hoot and trudge past through the black river all alight like little cities adrift.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

•|•|• "Why do you think they hide in the dark pup? Is It not a safety they seek, lest their own failure be revealed in the sun? Then they call the darkness evil, because because in it lies pieces of themselves they thought to conceal." •|•|• [KAYOS] And Indeed I Had. My eyes shifted from the fallen book, capturing hers. Her heart hammered quickly within her as our gazes locked, but no sooner had I spoken, she broke contact and bent to pick it up.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

Christmas was the reading of the book. This Christmas, Don's book was a novel—Norwegian, which was not a coincidence, a novel by the same writer whose essays were in the Norway reading programme. The novel was called The Dark Year, and it was about a man who spent a winter alone in a cabin in the far north of Norway, experiencing the full darkness for the first time. Don had been saving it since September, when he had finished the essays. He had placed it on the shelf above his desk, the designated holding place for the Christmas book, and had not opened it once.

HIS DARKEST SHADE (BOOK-THREE)

HIS DARKEST SHADE (BOOK-THREE)

HIS DARKEST SHADE BOOK-THREE ~Prologue~ “Even if you end up hating me for it.” His tone was vicious. “I might scare you,” he continued, his gaze roaming over her trembling form, “but they are far worse—formidable, vicious… and willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want.” He gestured toward her. “Including you.” “Never.” She shook her head, her voice trembling but firm. “I’m not scared of your words. You’re just trying to scare me so I’ll listen to you!”

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

"We pay it together. Half of your soul is mine anyway. He’ll have to go through the Rebel to get to the Queen." The Prime-Chamber was not a room; it was a throat. The walls were made of living obsidian, pulsing with a slow, oily black light that seemed to eat the very air we breathed. In the center sat the World-Eater, the mountain-sized heart we had seen before. But now, it was open. A massive, vertical crack had appeared in the center of the heart, revealing a core of pure, swirling Void. It wasn't a vacuum; it was a library of every shadow the world had ever produced.

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

They can’t hurt what they can’t see. I did not drop it. I raised it. And I looked—not at the chains, not at the monster’s arms—but at its chest. At the place where all those books fused into a roughly rib‑like cage. At the single, massive volume wedged dead center: a heavy, iron‑clasped tome that hadn’t moved once, even when the rest of its body shifted. Its “heart.” “That,” I gasped, pointing with the pen. “Its heart is a locked book—pry it open!”

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

It pulsed like a heartbeat against the cold lifelessness around us. Xareth walked toward it. My wolf finally receded, melting away into my bones, and I emerged once more, trembling, weak, every breath a battle. I had never felt this drained after retrieving a Heartstone. I felt hollowed out, like my soul had been scraped raw. But I forced myself upright, staggering to the side as my vision swam. Xareth stepped into the glowing hall and reached toward the source of the light. It wasn’t a weapon, or a jewel. It was a book.

The Rose Luna

The Rose Luna

And then, like a heartbeat, the ground beneath me pulsed, and the void around me began to transform. When the darkness receded, I found myself in a forest. Not the lush, vibrant woods of the pack’s territory, but a place twisted and unfamiliar. The trees were gnarled and blackened, their branches stretching out like skeletal hands against a crimson sky. The air smelled of ash and decay, and the ground beneath my feet was soft, almost spongy, as if it were alive. My darker self appeared again, her figure emerging from the shadows like a phantom. She looked at me with the same knowing smirk, her glowing eyes piercing through the oppressive atmosphere. “This is the second trial,” she said, her

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

Betrayal under the wolf’s moon

The second his fingers grazed the cover, the room shuddered. The walls groaned. The lightbulb overhead flickered wildly and burst, raining glass like frozen stars. A howling wind whipped through the room though no windows were open. The floor beneath them trembled, and a low, guttural voice emerged from the very shadows. “You misunderstand… little sinners.” Zephyr screamed and scrambled back. Alexa stiffened. “It was never the book’s will. It is merely a gate. The fault lies not with the book, but with the heart that bore the desire.”

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

Beatrice Beecham's Ship of Shadows

“This is what it wants. The Incorruptible Heart will be broken, her love lost, her resolve broken, she will be weak. Once this is done it will rise and claim the world as its own.” “What the hell is this thing?” she whispered. “Hell?” the man queried. “The Darkness isn’t defined by human beings, or the many faiths of this planet. It simply is. And anything that has happened right up to the point where you leapt from the boat and into its embrace is due to its designs on you, and what you represent.” Before Beatrice could question him, an image danced before her eyes, she was back on the boat, charging down Emily, the recollection made her voice hitch with horror. Then she was back there, liv
