Seeing this book again sent turbulence to my heart like in the afternoon when I'd seen it.

The table was covered in strange symbols, etched into the stone in a language they couldn't understand. "This is the Heartstone," Victoria said, her eyes gleaming with a knowing light. She held out her hand, revealing a gem of unparalleled beauty. The Heartstone was an iridescent crystal, about the size of a clenched fist, that pulsed with a gentle, inner light. I turned the stone in my hand and said, “It seems so…” Tyson took the stone from me. After examining it, he declared, “This is indeed ‘The Heart of magic.’ I have seen it before…”
