Hudson managed to disguise his anger well, as we advanced to the stage and stood in the sacred circle, in front of the elders; to the side were our parents. “Let’s begin,” Elder Krunk smiles with me and I nod, then he imparts the blessings: “May the Moon Goddess visit us this evening to share her gift of grace as she travels through sacred time and space. We are grateful for the journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment under her direction. May we see and comprehend the larger cosmic cycles and celestial occurrences that are in control of our lives when she is around. We align ourselves with the physical and spiritual worlds by working together with her to master the invisible spir

He was too scared to say a word even when his own wife was being offered up to serve the divine tree. … The next day, a few muscular men brought a sedan chair to the village before dawn broke on the horizon. According to the rules, the woman had to be blindfolded when she was delivered to the divine tree to prevent the location of the tree from being exposed. "Drink this, Hailey," David said as he offered me a bowl of black liquid. I took the bowl from him. The strong, herbal scent stung my nose. "What is this?" "It's to calm your nerves, so you won't feel as much pain later," David explained with bright eyes.

"Yes, honey, it's the only way. Plus, Beth has sacrificed herself greatly to protect you from yourself." "O-o-okay," Eve struggled to get out, as she moved to her best friend, whose legs were now parted. "It's okay, honey, you're in the sanctuary of The Lord and retrieving his gift is not a sin but a powerful bond of faith that will bring you even closer to him," the Minister explained, able to justify his preserve, twisted, kink with 'Christian' nonsense. Then going for the metaphorical kill he finished, his tone so soft, comforting and knowing, "Now, drop to your knees, my angel, and taste heaven."

Samantha said, her smile a rare glimpse of warmth amidst the darkness, reminiscent of the one she shared only with Kathleen. "Thank you for rescuing my dearest friend, Christian. But I implore you, never again offer your soul. If you do, I can no longer intervene to assist you." Samantha inched closer, a solemn determination etched on her features. With a gentle hand pressed against her chest, a soft glow emerged, radiating from within her.

“Under the moon and stars, beneath the sky and the earth, we give our blessing to you, Fabian, son of fury, and to you, Seraphina, daughter of strength. May you lead with fairness, love , courage, and hold onto each other without end. May the kingdom prosper under your reign. As she spoke, something shifted under my knees. A pulse, maybe. Or a wave. The ground felt alive. I could feel it, whatever this was, rising through the stone and into the air around us. Heavy, warm, real. Like the gods weren’t just watching they were here. Reaching out. I felt it in my bones. The gods had given us their blessing. In that moment it felt like I knew we were meant to lead.

’ Smiling, the priestess continued as she recited the blessing. “Blessed be your breath; may you breathe deep as you take in power. Blessed be your eyes as they look to the future and the skies. Blessed be your ears as you listen to the world around you and the moon goddess to guide you. Blessed be your tongue as you speak only truth and taste only the sweetness of life. Blessed be your hands as you grasp what the world and moon goddess provide. Blessed be your feet as they carry you through this world and the next.” Stepping back, Imogen handed the infant to Emmeline who held her close.

Long Chen asked the Dark God with a lazy expression. “Yeah! The bell will ring soon, and all the winners will receive their prizes, then ten of them will receive blessings from this heavenly realm!” Dark God replied, so exhausted he yawned in front of everyone on the eternal realm ship. Hearing that everyone was leaving, Long Chen immediately stood up, followed by Dark God and Long Chen from the demon realm. “Hua…. Let’s do this!” Long Chen said. "Alright, I’ll go with you even though I’m sleepy!" Swish… BOOOOOMMM

She knew Someone watched her still. Her fingers reached to the cloth tied around her waist. From within, she drew a small scrap of parchment. It held verses she had once written herself — lines of psalms and prophecies, inked in haste, in the days when her heart burned to know more of the divine. She opened it now with trembling fingers and read aloud in her weakened voice “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh. He shall scatter the wicked with the breath of His mouth. He shall lift the righteous from the pit,

“People wholeheartedly believe the words of priests but your words far outweigh theirs.” “You want me to confirm the goddess’ blessing for the public?” I nodded. Her brows furrowed for a second before she nodded. “I have a better suggestion.”
