As the stories got scarier, I noticed a few of the younger pack members huddling closer to their parents, seeking comfort and reassurance. Soon, it was my turn to share a story. Feeling the weight of the moment, I cleared my throat and began my tale. "In a small village, there was a haunted mansion. It was said that the spirit of a vengeful witch roamed the halls, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter her domain..." I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.

What in the world is going on? My mouth dropped in awe as some writing began to come up on the book, I wanted to take my hands off the book and scream out my lungs in fear but for some reasons I couldn't , I just watched in shock and as soon as it stopped I lifted the book up to my face to see what was written there. You shiver when you always think of, A werewolf in the night, They eat human flesh so yuck and sticky, But it’s just in your mind You might think there’s a creepy castle,

One of them is my own. Lola reads through a book of fairy tales she shows me a story about a woman that’s impregnated by a wolf. The story is written in a language I don’t recognize. I can only try to guess through the illustrations in the book what the story is about. All I can put together is that a woman gives birth to a baby that could shift into a monstrous, bloodthirsty beast. It slaughters entire villages on its own, insatiable for blood and carnage. “What does this mean, Nellie?” I ask.

People are loving the romance more than the horror, but the horror is getting some love as well. And this story is for anyone who loves reading. Obviously, this story is not for everyone. It's not for kids, it's not for anyone who can't handle disturbing content, and there are lot of stuff that will offend people. If I offended you in anyway with this story, then I apologize. I didn't mean to hurt you or write something harmful. It's just a story I wanted to tell to the world.

“I’ll be fine, I’ll just wait for my turn over on the couch.” I make my way to the couch with a quick pit stop at the bar cart. As I begin pouring bourbon into a tumbler I hear her squeal with delight as she turns on the shower. “I didn’t even need to magic our shower goodies from home! He’s already stocked everything! What a wonderful man!” She shouts over the stream. I giggle and take a sip, sauntering towards the bookshelf nestled by the couch. But still, my eyelids are absolutely reluctant to close. As I lay there staring blankly at the ceiling, I suddenly remembered Javier’s collection of horror books. That’s right. A while back, I’d idly picked up one of his scary stories. Since I’m actually a scaredy-cat, every time I read one of those horror stories, I’d immediately be scared out of my wits and end up falling asleep from emotional exhaustion.
