“You know Alphas are trash. They are bad people.” Adeline tried to open her eyes. She blinked a few times before looking straight at Hazel. “Don’t hesitate to call me, okay?” she raised her fist and said. “If that Alpha did anything bad to you, I’m going to punch him in the face.” Hazel just nodded and did not object at all. “You should stop. You are already drunk.” Hazel insisted. “I’m not!” Adeline exclaimed. “I know what I’m doing!” She took another glass from the table and took it straight in one gulp.

I rose to my feet and within a flash I was at the throng of hunters as they continued to try and smash their way through to kill the humans. My arms flung at them in a rage as I grabbed them, one and two at a time, throwing them in every direction until their bodies crashed against the hard trunks of the trees. The roar still sounding from my mouth as I ripped across their faces and torsos with my nails and clamped my mouth around their necks, tearing away their skin until they bled to death. The furious craze was burning my chest and the only way I believed in this moment would ease it, was to kill as many hunters as I could.

I tightened my grip on Chloe's hand. Adeline grabs a rather greasy-looking prisoner at the beginning of the line and smiles before plunging the knife she is holding into the top of his head.
