I yelled back. My father’s face turned purple, his lips trembling with rage. “You ungrateful child,” He spat, his voice venomous. “I’ve given you everything, and this is how you repay me? By disobeying and disrespecting me?” I felt a surge of anger at his words, but I kept my cool. “You’ve given me nothing but restrictions and rules,” I said, my voice steady. “You’ve taken away my freedom and my choices. That’s not love father, that’s possession.”

Just like loneliness, they had never disappointed me. —You don't deserve me being here —I took a deep breath to keep my sanity— I don't understand your reason for not telling me… for not saying I had, better said, I have one. —I simply can't, my mouth can't form that word— Do you know what I hate the most? What I abhor the most about all this, father? —This is stupid, it's pathetic to talk to a tombstone.

Mom immediately chased after me and slapped me hard across the face. The sound rang sharply. I could not react in time and took the blow head-on. “You ungrateful wretch! I raised you for nothing. Is this how you treat me? I should’ve listened to your father back then and drowned you in a cesspit!” Even though I had long been prepared for her favoritism, hearing those words still felt like a knife twisting in my chest. I took several deep breaths and forced myself to calm down. “Unfortunately, you no longer have that opportunity.”

“No matter how bad she was, she couldn’t have been worse than you! At least she had the decency to leave instead of staying here and pretending to be a father while treating me like I’m garbage!” “You ungrateful little bitch,” he snarled, spittle flying from his mouth. “After everything I’ve given you!” “What is there to be grateful for?” I challenged him, stepping even closer to him, refusing to back down. “Ignoring me for years? Treating me like I don’t exist? Showing me every single day how little I mean to you? What exactly should I thank you for? The money? The car? The fancy house? Newsflash, Dad… none of that makes up for being a shitty father!”

“You ungrateful child! I've offered you everything, and this is how you repay me?” “You've given me nothing but a life of luxury and entitlement,” I said, my voice calm and even. “But you've also taken away my freedom and my right to choose who I want to be with. So, no, I don't feel grateful. What I feel is resentment for a father who doesn't bloody care about my feelings! You just want me to be a dummy, someone you can control!” I'd had enough to bring told what to do, what to eat, where to go and even bloody giving him head-ups whenever I wished to leave the house. As a fucking adult, that was the last thing I needed.

“ You don’t look too well father , maybe if you got a woman your own age who'd respect and adore you , then you will understand why I am so just my the fact that my father is acting like a fool here , my own hero is nothing . You think that I am the only one who is disgusted by this act of yours. , then just wait till you hear what you have to say about you and then you can understand how much you have failed as a person I didn't wait for him to reply to me, my car was already waiting and so I got in without waiting for him to say another word . I didn’t want to hear it , I was so sick and tired of seeing his pretentious face , he could go to hell for all that I cared about .

“You think not selling me to other men makes you a good father? You think that’s something to be proud of? You’re sicker than I thought.” He shrugs, clearly unbothered. “You’ve always been ungrateful. I kept you alive, didn’t I? I kept a roof over your head. I let you go away to high school and college, and I left you alone. You had it better than a lot of kids.”

A future I wasn’t even sure I wanted. Reaching out, my father rested his hand over mine. “To whom much is given, much is expected.” His gaze darkened, voice dipping low. “I have given you and your brother so much, yet he disappointed me, don’t follow his path.” My shoulder felt heavier. But I couldn’t tell if it was because of my father’s words, or my mother’s gaze, cutting from across the table, cold and sharp. My father noticed immediately. “Why are you staring at him like he ruined this family? If anyone’s to blame.” His voice thickened. “It’s your son who decided to take his life.”

He says angrily, pushing the many works on my table and launch for me, grabbing my shirt in his hands as he glared at me “I don’t know what your Mother and I did to deserve a son like you but I hope to god, no parent gets to have a child like you. You’re a disappointment! A failure! A disgrace! Sending your mother out so late at night. Your mother is currently fighting for her life while you sit here.” W-what??

I look down on him who's shock on what I did. "You know what? You never been a good father to me. You fucking NEVER BEEN! Ever since Mom died, you ruined your life! You fucking ruined my life, Dad! You are the one who bring me sufferings! I never wanted to kill a person in the first place but what did you do? YOU FORCED ME. You keep on whispering to my ear like a mad demon, tempting me to pull the trigger. I am your fucking son and you're treating me like I'm just a slave! What kind of father are you!?" And in this moment, I can now finally release all the grudges I've been holding back ever since. All the emotions I've been keeping are now overflowing. Through my tears.
