Chasing fireflies
A massive vampire stepped into the ring, cracking his knuckles.
“Ready for a round?” he asked, raising his gloves.
Hunter nodded, stepping in. The guy wiped the floor with him, though Hunter managed to land a couple of decent hits.
“Not bad,” the vampire said after the bell rang. “But you’re too pissed off to focus. Loosen up.” He stepped out of the ring, then suddenly cut in front of Hunter as he was leaving.
“Name’s Han,” he said, wiping sweat off his brow. “Throwing a party this Saturday. Exclusive, if you catch my drift. You look like you could use, some fun.” He extended his hand, and Hunter reluctantly handed over his phone.
