We stayed on the dance floor, oblivious to the other dancers or onlookers, through the rest of the songs. The final song of the evening was an instrumental slow song that practically oozed sensual romance. Mom lifted her head to smile up at me, as I held her close and gently trailed my fingers up and down her spine.
