Aarohi’s POV : I was in deep slumber when I felt someone caressing my baby bump. I squirmed in my sleep and adjusted my self in a more comfortable positing, thinking that the feeling of someone else caressing my tummy will fade away. But I was so wrong, coz now I can fell that touch in a more accessible way, like the person is trying to feel something. I groaned in my sleep and slowly opened my eyes. I adjusted my sight and tried to see the person who is disturbing my peace full sleep.

I toss and turn, but sleep refuses to take me. Its absence causes this insomnia. In just a few days, I've become dependent on it. I can't have dinner without it, I can't sleep without it. It's quite strange. I don't think I love it, but I've developed a need to see it beside me, to feel its arms around me when I sleep, and even the specific, unorthodox touches it makes at the table.

Closing my eyes, I hope to get some sleep to let the time pass faster and to cope with this uneasy feeling, tightening like a tentacle around my chest, cutting my air. I jump as I feel a hand on my leg, and open my eyes to find Kai’s hand squeezing my thigh soothingly while he is still looking out of the window. He does it so naturally, wanting to make me feel better and I guess that he felt the suffocating sensation through the bond. Sparks erupt on my skin even if his touch is shielded by the thin fabric of my dress. I might be hallucinating but I suddenly feel calmer, and his touch tricks my love-drunken brain, causing it to think I can breathe properly again.

Like he was here touching me, kissing me, driving me to the brink of insanity. I shrug off the feeling and go back to bed. I pull the covers back before getting in and closing my eyes.
