Banana trees were planted in a neat straight line. Mangoes were starting to bloom. I then found my aunt fruit salad tree. I had orange, tangerine, lime, lemon and grapefruits grafted to one tree. I saw another one with mango, custard apples, guava and avocado grafted onto it. It was beautiful. I discovered my aunt's Rose garden. Well not big enough to be called a garden.

Walang kutsilyo o kung ano mang puwede kong magamit kaya kinakagat ko na lang ng balat at iniluluwa hanggang sa matanggal ko lahat. Masaya akong kumakain ng maasim na mangga sa itaas ng puno.

Fresh flowers surrounded the house, and there were mango trees, coconut trees, and different vegetables in her garden.

"Give me five. I'll be right back." He returns with an overflowing basket, setting containers one after another on the counter. "Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries. There were oranges too, but Sally tells me she shouldn't have citrus fruits while she's breastfeeding. Oh, and this..." He brandishes a jar. "Some kind of chutney. Apparently, it's from the last of the green tomatoes a few months back and Sally says she needs guinea pigs for the recipe." "Tell Sally I've no guinea pigs in the larder and I'd prefer she uses mutton next time."
