he rasped. "Your baby inside me…" she whispered and her eyes filled with tears. Angel stood up, pulled off his shirt and pants, leaving only his boxers on and went to lock the door. He joined her on the bed to lie behind her, reaching over her body he reduced the bedside lamp with a twist knob on the headboard at her side of the bed, plunging the room into semi-darkness. He then pulled her into his arms, pressing his naked body against her back Nadia felt his skin burn through the fabric of her shirt and she wanted to burrow deeper into his arms with no barriers between their bodies.

I clung to his arm, seeking comfort in the warmth that remained despite the cold reality of his comatose state. In that quiet room, surrounded by the sterile scent of medical equipment, I bared my soul to Angel. The weight of my unspoken words hung in the air, an uncharted territory that I now traversed in the hope that he could somehow hear me, even in the depths of his unconsciousness.

I drift my eyes to where I last saw Tee, Angel is there, she's talking to her friend who is dressed as Chucky. Angel is dressed as an Angel, I know, very cliche but at least it's a dark angel, it's black wings are not too spreaded and thank luck because she'd be hitting people with them. She wears a short white prom dress to compliment her wings, I hate to admit it but it's sexy and definitely not a try hard costume.

She thought it silly, but she lifted her head to look around and, of course, saw no one. As she rested her head on her arms again, someone rested theirs on her shoulder. A tender gesture meant to give encouragement. She peered up to find a smiling angel dressed in a golden suit of armor sitting beside her. The angel was no bigger than she, its wings spanning wider than its height. She reached out to touch this angel, and her hand passed right through its body. She knew then she was looking at the Ancient Warrior itself.

I knew that coming up here was risky but I just couldn't resist my desire to see Angel. Angel chuckled bitterly and then suddenly he pulled me into his arms, hugging me passionately. My breath went deep, I was overwhelmed with the emotions I felt. I was in his arms, my body embracing his warmth. "Angel...." He cut me off when his tough hand trailed firmly into the strands of my hair. He pulled my head closer to his shoulder and I just surrendered, deciding not to resist. I let my hands trail slowly from the sides of his waist, gradually up to his back.

When Angel opened her eyes, she was already in the hospital. The room was all white and smelled of medicine. She touched her stomach and immediately sat up anxiously. A strong hand held her. "Relax, Angel. Your baby will be fine." Angel turned and saw Dave holding her with one hand. The man looked pale and had a bandage on his arm; apparently, Jim's shot hit his arm. Dave followed Angel's gaze into his arm and grimaced. "It's not fatal; it just grazed my arm-"

Angel stood up from her seat and went among the dancing people. Angel removed her navel so that his long and beautiful hair fell down. Angel also removed her cloak and opened the two buttons of her vest as if she were being washed. Angel raised both of her arms above her head and waved her hands. Twisting and turning while grinding down like a madman stroking his hair, Angel noticed that the people dancing had moved aside to give him a wide space. Angel suddenly felt something on his waist, and when he turned his gaze to it, he immediately noticed a hand wrapped around it.

He roared, staring right into my eyes. “What injection is that?” I asked, skirmishing my way out of the doctor’s tight grip. He held down my arm tightly, and the needle pierced effortlessly through my skin. “It's amnesia-inducing! Doc, you know what to do with him. It's time I take my wife and leave.“ Ace muttered as he strolled to unchain Angel. I looked at Angel, but her gaze avoided mine. She didn't steal a single glance at me. The last thing I saw was her disappearing up the last stair, hand in hand with her husband.
