I gasped, my heart dropping into my stomach. Mom and I shot up, wide-eyed in shock. Tristan stood there, confusion written all over his face.
“What the hell happened?” he asked, staring at Maurice.
Maurice met his gaze with a smirk that sent chills down my spine. “Just had a little fun,” he said, as if he were talking about a night out, not the mess he was in.
