Novel & Cerita James Ponti Books

[RUBY] "The art of seduction, have you heard of it?" James asked, still trying to explain what he meant. I was still confused and hesitant about what he was trying to teach me, as I was afraid he might ask me to become a prostitute. "You mean the book by Robert Greene?" I asked. James smirked and nodded in response. "Yes, I know the book, but what does it have to do with the Camorra?" I asked, feeling my patience wearing thin. I knew I needed to learn something, but I needed to know what it was.

We’re joined by three of Ponti’s soldiers, which probably means they’re going to beat the shit out of me again. It’s better than losing any of my body parts. Ponti glances between Anya and me, then says, “I think you’re lying to me.” He waves a hand at us. “I don’t think you’re dating.” “I don’t give a shit what you think,” I mutter. The man is way too focused on something as trivial as my relationship status. What’s he playing at? From the two million pesos ransom he demanded from my father, I feel Ponti is all about mind games. He knows we can handle physical torture, so maybe he’s trying to break us mentally.

"In that case, I think the pizza can wait." End of Book One: Incendiary
