However, it was also clear that Joseph was blatantly showing off his power, as if he needed everyone to know just how powerful he was. Joseph's need to be acknowledged as a powerful person was like a hedgehog putting up its quills to protect its soft body. So, in Sebastian's opinion, this indicated that Joseph's bark was probably way worse than his bite. Hans could sense that the situation was escalating and rushed to diffuse it.
