Santino's POV Santino stood before the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, his long fingers drumming restlessly on the mahogany desk. As night fell, his agitation grew. Getting rid of Jessy was just the first step. Now, he had to get back what was truly his. His top aide entered and handed him a top-secret file. "Don, we've found the Donna. She's in Lumina, on the West Coast. She opened an art gallery." He opened the file. The first thing he saw was a telephoto shot.

I stare at them confused as I had tried walking around them but they won't let me. "Donna, Don requested your presence." One of the men said. Ah, He still have to follow me to school, I resist the urge to roll my eyes. Donna? Isn't it like a female gangster leader? Why did he have to show up in my life now that I at least have little peace. "I'm not going." I stated matter of fact. I attempt to pass their middle, but stop when they just continue blocking my way. "Donna, please don't make it hard for us." the other guy said by now the few people that still lingered around had stop and are now watching the show.

I thought I would be calm. But when the truth finally came out, my body trembled all the same, and I couldn't stop it. "Heads of the families, I know you all want Louis dead right now, but before he's judged, there's a personal debt I mean to settle with him." I took a deep breath. "I wonder if any of you remember the former Donna of the Vitale family. My mother, Selena Pavano." "Twenty years ago, my brother was barely a month old when Louis's wife Jessica threw him from an upper floor to his death. And my father, Louis, never bothered to learn the truth. He took Jessica at her word and had my mother beaten to death..."

“What are you looking at? It’s a new dress, perfect for the hot weather.” It didn’t take long before Carlo arrived with his wife. Cassandra strutted in with an unmistakable presence. She stood tall, her voice booming. “Well, look at the wonderful spread.” Meeting my gaze, Cassandra gave me a pat on the shoulder cheerfully. “You are no doubt the prettiest Donna we’ve seen in ages. Don Colombo is a lucky man.” I exchanged pleasantries gleefully, not mistaking the disdain fleeting across Juliana’s face from the corner of my eye.

She kissed me then, slow and certain, the kind of kiss that made the world tilt. And I thought, for the first time in years, that maybe forever wasn’t a myth. That night, we cooked together in the villa’s kitchen. Holly chopped vegetables, Dante burned garlic, Santino poured wine like it was strategy. The staff watched from the doorway, smiling, whispering. The Don was laughing. The Don was living. The Don was in love. We ate under the stars, the sea whispering below, the air warm and full of promise. And I thought:

"What are you?" The lady was quite annoyed with the way Josh addressed her. She clenched her fist but smiled again. "You don't know me, but I can make you happy." Daniel had already passed out. He rested his head on Jessica's shoulder who had also passed out. Josh scanned the lady from head to toe. Her gown was so short that if she crosses her legs, her panty was going to show. Her hedious makeup made her look really scary and she looked so skinny. "I'm not interested." He removed her hands from his arm. He checked the liquor bottle and saw it was empty. He felt disappointed.

“Harder, Dan!” Gia. "Faster... ughhh..." Gia moaned. "Gia... Giaa... babe, you're so tight..." the more I heard, the more I break. Cold rushed through me in an instant, as if ice water had been poured straight down my spine. For one foolish second, my mind tried to argue—No. That can’t be her. Gia was Daniel’s childhood friend. Right in front of me, he pulled Daphne into his arms.

Justine said back. He did not even glance at the back when he asked me. Well, I'm not having a hard time following him through. Good thing he advised me to take off my sandals. Because if he didn't, I might have a hard time walking with the four-inches heels. "Is your brother had a girlfriend?" Don't know where that comes from, but my tongue never hesitated. "Girlfriend?" Justine asked in a confused tone. "What's that?" Oh. I forgot. Joshua comes from an uncivilized place surrounded by wolves. No wonder even his little brother doesn't recognize the term.

Now it felt like a death knell. After a long hesitation, I answered on the last ring. But all I heard was the raucous laughter of his drunken men. "The Don's move was brilliant! That high and mighty Principessa Collins is probably still dreaming of being the Donna." "Of course. You know our Don. He played the perfect gentleman for so long just to get his hands on the Collins' business. I heard the broad's a cold fish in bed, is that true?" "Haha, what's the use of being prissy? Collins territory is about to become Jenkins territory! And the funniest part is the kid. It'll be a bastard the moment it's born!"
