“Yes, that’s a good idea.” We settled into our spots—Victor on one side of Jasmine and me on the other. I pulled out the storybook I had brought, a collection of fairy tales with colorful illustrations that Jasmine loved. As I began to read, Victor’s gaze softened. He settled comfortably, leaning back against the headboard with a contented sigh. “Once upon a time,” I began, my voice gentle and rhythmic, “in a land far, far away, there was a magical forest where all the animals lived happily together…”

We talked for hours as the night wore on. “You really thought about quitting because of burnout?” I asked, tracing a finger along his chest. “Yeah. Days blurred together. Then you started coming in regularly. Made me look forward to shifts again.” He smiled in the low light. “What about you? Why history?” “I like stories that last,” I said. “People who lived real lives hundreds of years ago. Makes my problems feel small.” We laughed softly. Then the touching started again. This time I climbed on top, riding him slow while we kept talking. He looked up at me like I was something special. His hands roamed my body, squeezing my breasts, guiding my hips.

Jared revealed, Aghogho giggled, he took one step towards Jared, “Are you talking about the history book of the Beast kingdom written by a so called ancient Forest Nymph, where the Beast in the bottomless hole is located? See you. It was all a lie, the stories, Dragons, the Beast in the bottomless hole. They are all fables we say to our cubs at moonlight stories.” “Are we? Are we fables?!” Jared asked. Aghogho groaned suddenly his appearances changed as he grew bigger, wilder and hairier, his nails grew sharper and his canine teeth also as he thudded towards Jared.

It was Rajeev's book; he usually carried a little book with him, in which he wrote about the medicinal plants he collected from the nearby forest. When they initially came across wolves in the bush, Rajeev failed to see that book. In fact, Jignesh discovered the book in the same bush where he discovered the corpse of the wolf. "Yes, sir, that's mine; I lost it in the bush", Rajeev said. Jignesh gently said, "Sir, we have a few questions for you. Would you kindly collaborate with us?" Rajeev replied right away, "Sure, sir." Ram remarked, "Can I join with you guys even?" right away.

It sounds vaguely familiar. In my lap is the book Avianna brought. I had checked it out in the library last year when I was researching more on the Wolves-before I had even known about Abrego or the other packs. It's filled with some of the tales, like The Hunter and the Wolf. It isn't an elaborate or very original story. A hunter was walking in the forest one day, checking all his traps when he stumbled across a wolf. She had stolen all his kills from the traps, which angered The Hunter. From that day on, he tried to capture The Wolf and she tried to steal his prized kills.

"What is that?" Caliban traced lazy patterns across my back form where he was laying on the bed. I was sitting up and had the story book in my hands. "A book I found while snooping through the cabin. It's a collection of Thanaten stories," I sighed and leaned back onto the bed into his arms. "Let me see it." He held out his hand and I have the book over. After flipping through the legible pages, the king gave me the book back. "It's a children's book. Common to find in every household. I'm not surprised they have one here."

I sat next to him and saw the children sitting on the floor. I waved at them and smiled and they did the same. A few minutes later, they begged James to tell the story again. It's good that I'm not the one being asked, gosh, I'm going to run out of saliva again. "Oh, I'm going to tell a story so listen carefully okay. The title of this story is Bamboo and the turtle."

Tank When Lilly told me she was pregnant I could help but shout out in joy. “ Brothers, can you believe it. I’m going to be a daddy. Lilly is making me a daddy.” My brothers come up and congratulate me and hug Lilly. Lilly laughs at my reaction and asks “ I take it you are happy with my news.” I pull her and hug her tight and kiss the hell out of her. When I hear her grunt I realize I’m squeezing her too tight and let go. “ I’m sorry sweetheart. Did I hurt you? Is the baby ok?” Lilly giggles “ We are fine. I promise.” I sigh in relief “ Good. And to answer your question. I’m over the moon about the baby.” Lilly leans into me for comfort like she does when she is stressed.

The plot's overused and it gets rather boring as the year's progress. Zale on the other hand, found them to be rather cute. He wanted to be like them. The Princes'. Imagine having to save a Princess from a fire-breathing dragon. Or from the clutches of an evil stepmother. The action that would take place in those storylines never fails to thrill him every single time. He'd also find himself fantasizing about slaying the dragon and saving you from a tower. No matter how many times he's imagined it, he can't help but giggle at himself at the thought of you sending him a kiss for his glorious act of bravery.
