Novel & Cerita Kitchen House Book

An ordinary housekeeper? It seemed like my brain had begun to spin erratically inside my skull. Oh, good heavens! What in the world is the matter with him? Why does he want to marry a weird woman he met by chance a few hours ago?

We continued through the house. There was a room that had once been my mother’s study, and Vicky found a small wooden cabinet filled with old books. She pulled one out. “Look.” Inside the book was a handwritten note. Not another estate instruction. Not a legal document. Just a recipe. Vicky laughed. “Our mother wrote recipes in books?” “Apparently.” She read it aloud, then looked at me. “Can you cook this?” I shook my head. “Absolutely not.” She laughed. “I knew it.”

Zeke spoke as he went into the kitchen. Since I could see him from the kitchen, I didn’t see the need to follow him. It wasn’t exactly a large house, but it looked well cared for. There wasn’t anything extravagant in the house, just some furniture and a few lamps. The walls were practically covered in photos though. There was one picture in particular that drew my attention.

Thankfully, I couldn't see anything more than that. I sighed walking over the the cabinets and pulling out everything I needed. The kitchen was about the only room in this house with a modern touch; my touch. Everything was a sleek black and silver, mirror finishes and shiny tops that you could see your reflection on. It was a big room since it had to accommodate the woman who cooked the three meals a day for everyone staying in the pack house but the diningroom was larger. Finding everything I needed, I placed them onto the counter and began mixing my batter. The alpha had stopped what he was doing and began watching me intently making me feel extremely awkward.

I only know this from my dad. The kitchen is new. You can tell it must have been what they remodeled. This house is old. I am guessing it was built in the 1920’s. But the kitchen is more modern. All white cabinets, with gray marble countertops. Stovetop and oven are not connected. The refrigerator is built in. It's huge. I am taking it all in. This house is beautiful. I want this house. Manifesting now.

You’ll see when you’ve been here a few days and learnt about Lord Burnet’s habits. ‘I can’t wait,’ Karen said ironically, beginning to resent this high and mighty personage who had not yet deigned to meet her. The kitchen had every amenity: blue Delftware tiles, a washing machine, tumble dryer, cathedralstyle light-oak units and matching leaded-glass wall cupboards. The fridge-freezer was stocked with essentials: milk with a two-inch layer of gold-tinted cream, primrose butter, a wedge of tongue-tingling Chedder cheese. A farmhouse loaf with a mouth-watering crusty brown to sheltered in the bread bin. There were reliable stand-bys in the larder — baked beans, tuna fish and plum tomatoes - an

He had a warm smile on his face, as he gave her a gentle pat on her shoulder. Ruby laughed lightly as they approached the kitchen. "Well, don't say I didn't warn you well in advance." "Warning noted." As they walked into the massive, fully equipped kitchen Ruby gasped beside him. "This is your kitchen!" Roth shrugged. It looked like any other kitchen to him. "Your kitchen, if you want the job." Remembering the large library of cookbooks in cabinet over the sink he brushed past her and retrieved roughly a dozen of them. Carrying them over to the sit-down breakfast bar he plunked them down. "And this will be your homework."

For one, I think I’m the only slave in the household (besides the occasional gardener hired to come once a week), and another thing is that the mansion was just too big that I think it took up almost a block in the neighborhood. I dusted shelves, vacuumed carpets, and wiped a gazillion windows until the sun was setting. If work did not hold him back, Dylan would be home in around an hour, so I prepped the kitchen to come up with dinner. I wouldn’t say that I’m good at cooking, but fortunately, I found a cooking book lying around one time while cleaning and was allowed to take it, so I made more than decent meals so far.

/Meelah’s POV/ “If the butler mentioned earlier that he asked the kitchen to make variety of dishes so that Brian and I can select according to our preference, why is there no trace of someone cooking in the kitchen?” I stop to ask myself “Mrs Kings” Brian lets out in his deep voice that startles me with his hot breath fanning my neck and making me wonder how and when he got close to me. “I know that this house is mesmerizingly beautiful, but if you keep on drooling at the beautiful kitchen, when will we be able to check out the other features in the house?” Brian remarks proudly making me roll my eyes at him

She didn’t want Calvin witnessing another chapter of her black history. Calvin smirked, but didn’t push. “No rush. Take your time.” He casually stepped across the spacious hall to the bookshelf that opened with a light touch, pulled out a hardcover English book, and flipped to the title page. His eyes skimmed the words, but his mind wasn’t on the text. Within earshot, the sounds of cooking reached him from the kitchen: the fire being lit, oil heating, and the batter hitting the pan with a loud sizzle.
