I yelled over the chaos, my eyes traveling around the room, when I saw her. At one end of the room, Leila was on her feet, the front of her white dress drenched in blood. She held what looked to be a very sharp knife, and was pointing it toward The Outsiders advancing on her. Several piles of ash in the shape of bodies lay on the floor around her as a sense of pride overwhelmed me. But when she spotted me, a crazed look filled her eyes and she growled.
