Shadows of the Lost
The first time she visited Z in her room, she sprang at her back as she looked out at the window and had almost killed her by falling had she not grabbed Z by the scruff.
Zoriah stood next to Z, her face faced towards the Shadowests who were readying their lanterns above their head. “The world is ever-changing, child! You know, as I do, that Legends are in need of replacement. Alas, the eyes that behold it all, that see through the deception of fate, were taken away from its owner and, thus, I cannot be of help.”
Smiling, Z watched the lanterns danced with the wind, moving up towards the darkening sky, becoming smaller and smaller until the cloud covered them from view.
