LEGION'S POV "I should have listened to my father. But the weight of it and the grip it held to my soul pressed me to my knees. I screamed for help. Lucien was approaching, gun in one hand and cigar in the other. A wicked smile played on his lips. And his eyes glared with hate and malice. He aimed at Damien. “You traitor.” he fired. “Marco…” I woke with a sharp intake of breath. My heart raced for a moment before the silence in the room settled in. It was only a dream. But it felt surreal. And Damien’s stunned face still lingered in my mind.

But together, they were unstoppable. Lucien growled and jumped again, trying to separate them, but Damien blocked him while Elara struck from the side. They moved as one, their attacks sharp, fast, and full of fire. Damien’s claws cut deep into Lucien’s body, and Elara’s glowing teeth tore into his leg. Lucien howled in pain. His men began to panic. Some tried to run, but Kael and the warriors blocked their path. The battle grew hotter. Damien and Lucien clashed again, but this time Elara struck harder, her golden eyes shining brighter. She slammed Lucien down and held him in place while Damien attacked his chest with sharp claws. Blood poured out, and Lucien roared in rage.

Red lightning cracked across the horizon, painting the night in crimson. “They’ve opened a tether,” Seraphina said, standing. Her voice was no longer just her own—it carried echoes. “To drag me back in.” “Can they?” Dante asked, gripping his sword. “They’re going to try.” Lucien appeared in the doorway, already armored. “Then let’s end this.” --- They rode under a bleeding sky. Bael’s ruins had transformed into a pit of madness. Symbols carved in flame lined the broken stones. Chanting rose like smoke from the streets. People danced in trance, blood smeared across their faces. Magic pulsed from the ground.

Blood rushed through my ears as I heard anger, sadness, and duty. "Fight if you can," Damien's voice came through the darkness. But if nothing is done, the realms will drown. It was a flash like I'd never felt before. There was a rush of light into the room. Across the gap, flames broke out. Shadows screamed and dissolved. Lucian was burned but still alive when he fell against the shrine. His cloak ripped. He coughed, blood dripping from his side. “Elara…” he whispered, voice broken. I dropped Aaron and ran to him, kneeling beside him, hands shaking as I dragged him toward me.

“Tell me—did you kill my son?” Lennox remained silent, only growling in response. Damien's expression hardened. “It doesn’t matter... you all deserve death.” He lunged again, swords flashing. Lennox met him head-on. The clash was deafening. I could hardly keep track of the fight—claws, blades, movements, blood. Damien swung wildly, but Lennox was quicker, stronger. One strike after another—until Lennox's claws raked across Damien’s chest, sending him crashing against the wall.

I. He rose from the ground and grabbed my wrist. "Don't act out, we're already one step from getting fully married. Don't be stupid." He was stronger than me, and so he was able to hold me down. Or so I thought. One moment I was about to yield, and the next, I had my claws in his chest. My claws had never come out before. "Fuck!" Dame's screamed as the pain seared through him. He fell to the floor clutching his bloodied chest, and father started walking towards us. Including Dame's father who was already drawing his sword.

Lena’s POV I was halfway through the door, my legs barely holding me up when I felt something pierce my back sharply. “Aah!” I screamed, stumbling forward. My vision blurred, and I crashed to the floor, hard. I gasped, trying to breathe, but every inhale felt like fire. My fingers touched my back, and as I withdrew it, it was soaked in blood. My blood. “If I can’t have you”, Damian’s voice rang out from behind, wild and twisted, “then no one will!”

Damien barely had time to move before Lucas’s fist connected with his jaw, sending him stumbling back. Lucien whistled. "Oh, now this is a show. Didn’t know you could hit like that, Lucas. Guess betrayal builds muscle." Damien wiped the blood from his lip, eyes burning with fury. "That all you got?"
