Maybe not all love stories are roses and rainbows. Some are written in blood. Deep red, is a color hard to forget and hard to take off. And their’s was written in blood. Running deep, making it hard to forget or scrub off, leaving its mark on this very universe.

The way he's holding himself so still, like any movement might break whatever flimsy thing exists between us. I add black next. Dark swirls that consume the red like it's consuming me. "I feel angry. At you. At myself. At this whole situation." "And?" His voice is barely above a whisper. I hesitate, then add touches of blue. Soft, sad blue that speaks of tears and longing and all the things I can't say out loud. "And I feel confused. Because sometimes, in moments like this, I remember why I fell in love with you. And I hate myself for it."

They were bruised and swollen, but the bleeding had stopped. Surprisingly it looked like the fight had happened a day before and not just a few minutes ago, it was already healing. I ran my fingers over his hand, feeling the heat radiating under his bruised skin. “I'm sorry,” I whispered, tears gathering in my eyes. Ricardo’s eyes snapped to mine, his eyes widening with shock. “For what?”

Blue examined his reflection, scratching his head when he saw the fake mole was gone. Blue turned to Katleya. “Let me explain.” “So, you’re Red? W-Where’s Blue?” Katleya asked. “You’re not mad?” Red moved closer to her. “Please, Kat, don’t be mad.” Katleya nodded in agreement. “Yes! I love you!” Everyone in the cafeteria turned to look at them after Red’s outburst. “You love me?” Katleya smiled, suppressing her excitement. “I mean, thank you,” Red corrected.

That word made my stomach turn. “I don’t want this,” I muttered, my voice sharp and broken. “You say that now,” he said, leaning forward, brushing my hair back behind my ear with a stained hand. “But one day, you’ll see. One day, you’ll look at me and realize I’m the only one who ever truly loved you enough to bleed for you.” My eyes didn’t leave his. I couldn’t move. Couldn’t speak. All I could do was breathe—slow and quiet—as I tried to hold myself together.

His teeth grind the more he stares at it. Red. Fucking. Roses. Of all the damn colors to send somebody, Tenz Jer'sey had to choose the one that makes his stomach churn and eyes sting. His fist tightens further. Red. The color that's supposed to be used by lovers.

Maya looked through the kitchen doorway into the living room, where Elena was politely listening to her father talk about his old record collection. Elena looked up, her enhanced vampire sight locking onto Maya from across the distance, her hazel eyes shined with a deep, endless love.

"No." Aldren looked through the glass. "What about his blood?" "We ran another analysis." "And?" The nurse hesitated. "It doesn't make sense." "Explain." "His blood appears normal for several minutes." "And then?" "Then the Crimson markers spike." "How high?" "Too high." Aldren's jaw tightened. "Could it be contamination?" "We thought so." "And?" "We replaced everything." The nurse lowered her voice. "The result was the same." Aldren stared at Elias. "Does he have any physical changes?"

Blood is flowing down as the cut is deep……. I can't see but I know that the bed sheet is now ruined with my blood. Not virginity blood but my life losing blood. It must be looking red.. The colour of love and the colour of death…. Hugging his photo close to my heart , I kept remembering our time together that we spent until my vision started to get blurry making me know that I'm losing it. Finally I'm losing my life and getting the peace I wanted. I closed my eyes, surrendering to the darkness with a smile on my lips.

You don’t get to pick who you love. The plane has been in the air for 10 minutes when it’s happens. When the lights cut out and the screaming starts. When the nose of the plane starts to fall towards the earth. When one of the wings is ripped from the left side of the plane and a giant whole is sitting where the other people should have been.
