Life Of Writer Novels & Stories

I realize that this will be a book of true stories that will be criticized by many people. Okay, I am indeed a freelance writer who sometimes writes for newspapers and magazines. But, until now, I have never felt like making an offer to create someone's biography book. Although a few times I felt tempted to offer services for creating a biography book for wealthy individuals or famous politicians, especially when my finances were in decline. In reality, up to this moment, the book I wrote and sent to publishers has never been published. I sat while staring at the amount on the check, which according to him was for the work and accommodation costs during the book's creation.

For a doctor, nothing was more rewarding than the recognition and trust of patients and their families, the same way a writer cherished the praise from his readers. It was a kind of fulfillment that money couldn't buy.

“I’m here for work, actually. But I try to mix in a little pleasure when I can.” “Work?” I repeat, surprised. “Here?” “I’m a travel writer,” he explains. “I get to visit places like this and write about them. It’s not a bad gig.” “That sounds amazing,” I say, a hint of envy in my voice. “You must see so many incredible things.” “I do,” he agrees. “But it’s not just about the places. It’s about the people you meet along the way, the stories they have to tell.” I nod, understanding more than he knows. Stories have always been my escape, my way of making sense of the world. But now, it feels like my own story is spiraling out of control, and I don’t know how to write the next chapter.

For years, Timothee thought that everyone was the main character of their own lives. That even when things seemed boring from time to time, every single person in the world would always have stories to tell about their lives. After all, writers tend to only write the parts in a story that were interesting. No one wanted to read about the mundane parts of the character’s life in detail. And that was when she realized that it was just like her case as well. A lot of things had happened. Good and bad things. Maybe she was in a story as well? That was a thought that would always make her smile.

Another tough question. “Well, um… I feel like it’s personal preference, but truth be told, every writer has, at least once in their lifetime, written at least one story that has significant references or connections to their own life. I won’t lie, I have, too. In fact one of my stories are based entirely on my early life.” I answered truthfully, as best as I could. “You mean… it’s an exact copy? Truly your life story?” Asked another.

I said, "but I'll try to give you the short version. I was a lawyer for many years, but I always had a passion for writing. I used to write short stories and poetry in my spare time, and I even tried my hand at writing a novel. But it wasn't until I went through a difficult time in my personal life that I really found my voice as a writer." The host nodded, her eyes filled with understanding. "I think that's true for many writers," she said. "We often find our voice and our inspiration in the midst of struggle and adversity." I nodded, feeling a sense of solidarity and connection with the host. "Yes, I think that's true," I said. "And for me, writing has been a way to process my emotions and

“I don’t believe it.” I said and folded my arms. He shrugged his shoulders in response. Not like it mattered who was richer. I have my own money. Might not be enough to feed a thousand people for three hundred years but enough to keep me warm and fed for a lifetime. “You are very interesting to be around and you have a habit of zooming off.” He commented. “What to do? I am used to being on my own and daydreaming, I am a writer.” I told him. “You said that before. What do you write about?”

I’ve got to live thousands of lives, experience a wide range of emotions from book characters, and travel to different places in my imagination. One day I was Harry Potter, and on the next day I just discovered the entryway to Narnia. Reading kept me sane and alive, and my imagination is my sanctuary. And that’s how I became a writer. My parents passed away when I was only five years old. They died in a car accident. Ever since that, I had lived with my grandmother who raised me as her own. She got me through college, and lived only up to my graduation day. And that was a year ago from today.

**** Life did not agree. Life never agreed with endings because endings were something writers put into books to give readers a place to put the story down and walk away satisfied. Real things did not end. They continued, changed shape, became something you had not anticipated, and kept going. I understood this at fifty-one years old sitting at the desk in the study at the family home with the hills outside the window and Eleanor's voice carrying from the library where she was on a call with the planning authority about her fourth project. She was fifteen.

Dear Readers, As I sit down to write these words, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. This book — my very first — is more than just a story. It is a piece of my soul, carved out over years of unexpected challenges, personal storms, and quiet triumphs. There were moments when life felt too heavy, when writing seemed impossible, and yet, somehow, I kept returning to these pages.
