Love Is but an Illusion
I wandered back home like a lost soul and stared at the empty room she had left behind.
I stood in front of our bed, and a sharp pain stung into my heart as I stared at the bedsheets that she had personally picked out for us.
Memories of our time together flooded into my mind, before being eventually reminded of the reality that was the empty room before me.
I lay down on the bed and shut my eyes. And even then, all I could think of was Joanna. "I'm sorry, Joan. I was wrong."
I continued murmuring to myself, my voice filled with anguish and regret. "Please come back to me, okay? I'll do anything to make things right."
