Beyond Love
I was unable to comprehend marrying somebody I barely knew, somebody who had ridiculed me just days ago.
When I arrived home, my face was spread with tears, and my heart drained with a sensation of treachery. I was unable to force myself to look at my dad without flinching. Stress scratched all over, I took a full breath and accumulated the assurance to talk.
