The sound of her anklets attracted the attention of people to the fair maiden,she clasped her bangles together smiling only her brown light eyes wear seen,she removed her hands reviling her beautiful face. Her brown dark hair was decorated with garlines and a golden hair set and earrings.. She sang beautifully and worshipped the goddess Lakshmi.Roshni's POV
"Oh my word this is like the fifth time mama is calling me i should go downstairs"I muttered.
I quickly wore my slippers and went downstairs. I ran downstairs smiling till i saw something that made my smile fade. My father!! Before i forget let me give you a little introduction about myself. I am roshni rajesh sindiha the daughter of the most richest man in banaras,Mr rajesh pratap sindiha. My father is respected by everyone including me,my mother ragini and my little cute brother. My moms a sweetheart i love her something bothers me sometimes i look nothing like mom she has black hair and eyes but mines brown. Anyway back to dad,"Names..ty papa" I greeted but he just ignored me.
"Ragini ragini" he yelled
" ye..yes raj" mama answered scared too. Then I saw ram giving me a your-done-for look.
"Start helping roshni pack she's leaving for america Tomorrow" papa said sternly
"what!!" I and mama yelled.
"yes, mischief is becoming to much light"he said. He always calls me that cause Roshni means light.
"You always find away to chase your suitors away" he said. Yeah I do that a lot.
"But papa...." i tried to speak.
"But nothing its either you go to America or you marry bablu"he said sternly. I was beyond hearing bablus name papa knows i hate him. He's so fat,he has always had a crush on my since grade five.
"Papa this is so unfair" I cried and went to my room. Ignoring mamas calls.
I cried all day,I got a text from rashi to come to my window I saw her there.I tied some bedsheets for her to climb."Hey girl what's up" she said
"Papa's sending me to America Tomorrow"I said sadly
