7th Chapter - "The Heartbreak and New Friend"

The Amazing Star Band starts playing.

Eliz and Sandra start to sing while only Cindy's keyboard starts playing in the intro.

🎶🎤

"Oooh... Oh Oh... Oh..."

Then Cindy starts singing and the other instrument starts playing with her. Only Cindy left singing before she start she take a glance at Hajoon. She put all her emotion before she start to sing.

"I guess I should've known better

To believe that my lucky chance, oh

I let my heart in forever

Finally, learn each others name

I tell myself this time is different

No goodbyes, cause eyes can't bear to say it!

I'll never survive the one that's coming

If I stay... Oh no!

Cindy still looking at him while Hajoon is now looking at Ae-ril again.

🎤🎶

"Just walk away! Oh, and don't look back 

Cause if my heart breaks, it's gonna hurt so bad.

You know I'm strong but I can't take that

Before it's too late...

Oh no! Just walk away!

(walk, walk, walk away...)

Sandra and Eliz second voice to her

And that time also Cindy make some mad emotion while singing the bridge of the song.

Cindy continues the melody while Sandra and Eliz continue to sing the chorus part. They are all shocked including Fudge who is still playing the drums. They all feel the tension and angry emotion of Cindy while singing but they just ignored that and continue the performance.

Their performance end and all the guest stand and clap their hands at them but Cindy still looking at Hajoon who is now finally walking out in the hallway.

After their performance finished all her bandmates and Cindy immediately left the venue and go to the parking lot where their van and Cindy's motorcycle parked at.

While they are walking they still talking about the shocking things that happen earlier.

"That girl is so unbelievable! It's a good thing that Taeyong didn't come!" Fudge starts the conversation.

"That is true! If he comes the press will flood the venue, they will surely make a fuss about it!" Sandra also angry added.

"Who is the fool who goes to the engagement party of his ex-wife and mortal enemy right!?" Eliz also mad says.

"But he did," Cindy whispers to herself.

"Huh? Cindy, did you saying something?" Sandra ask.

"Yes? Ah, n-no it is nothing..." she just said.

"Well, it's okay that Taeyong already breaks up with her before it's too late! He doesn't deserve a woman like Ae-ril!

Literally!!!" Fudge still makes some fuss about it.

"Hahaha! Don't be so harsh! But who do you think is the first one who wants to broke up?" Eliz say.

"Of course the girl." Cindy continue to mumbling to herself that make Sandra confused ask again.

"What? Cindy, what are mumbling about again?"

"Huh? I didn't! I mean it's nothing! nevermind that! Heh..." Cindy reply continuously.

"Really? You're acting weird lately is there something wrong?"

"Yeah, you also acting strange earlier at the performance it seems like you have been very emotional while singing the bridge part of the song." Fudge also curiously asks.

"Maybe she is hungry. We didn't eat anything at the party because we're in a hurry to leave!" Eliz answered.

"Well how about we go straight to Mrs. Han's restaurant to eat something delicious!" Sandra recommended.

"That is also what I'm gonna say!" Fudge also agrees.

They continue to walk then suddenly.

"Ms. Cindy Tan! Please wait!"

All of them turned to look at Ae-ril who was walking on their way. They all walk to reach her.

"It is a good thing that I caught up!" 

"Ah, what are you doing here? I mean is there something you forget to tell us?" Cindy asked in surprise.

"I just want to thank you personally, you know about the song that I requested from you."

"You don't need to do that. I mean it's our job so it's natural to give our best and follow our guest wishes." Cindy just said.

"She's right you don't need to get in here personally just to say thank you... it's embarrassing for us!" Sandra says with a bitter tone.

"It's okay, actually I have something I want to give to you for my appreciation for what have you done earlier. Here it's only for you." 

Ae-ril handed over a small white envelope and Cindy's reaction was surprising that she didn't accept it.

"Ah, T-there is no need for that we already paid off so there's no need for you to..."

"No, you do declining.."

Cindy keep declining the white envelope but the woman immediately acted as she was hugging her and whisper to her ear side. The two bodyguards who were with Ae-ril at that time also stop her friends who are going to approach them.

"I hope it is enough for you to shut your mouth right? Everything you heard and see earlier I hope it will keep a secret from the both of us because if it spread to anyone you know what is the consequences."

Cindy's eyes widened when she realized that she knows she was there and heard everything that Ae-ril and Taeyong were talking about. After that Ae-ril slowly separated from her, she forcefully handed the envelope to her and smiled at her threateningly and walk away but only a few steps away before she turned around the ways say.

"What a pity I think it would be our last chance to meet each other I wish you all the best!" the woman said and turned around and continue to walk away.

Cindy was still silent and clench her teeth she was pissed off which is why she can't stay silent and turned around and shouts at Ae-ril.

"Don't you there take another step!" Cindy shouted which make all of the people looked at her including Ae-ril. You can also feel the heavy tension between them.

"What... did you just say?" the woman asked with a high eyebrow. But Cindy never affects at all and just sighs her. After that, she starts to take a step towards her and stop in front of her.

"You're right, I heard everything. But don't worry, like what you said we were never seen each other so you can feel at ease. Also, I am not the kind of person who used to get involved in other people's business that is actually what I don't want the most! About what I heard and see I can forget all about it if you want because I don't care about it either so stop doing this to me because I don't need it!" She forcefully take her hand also and handed the white envelope to her hand.

"But I'm giving you some advice, you can't hide the truth for the rest of my life for now I will still be silent and do nothing about it but when the time comes for you that 'KARMA' will be the one who charges you itself." Cindy smiled at her too in a short time and then stare at her coldly with rolling her eyes before it turned around and walk away. 

Cindy walk straight away from her and confuse but her friends followed her immediately. Ae-ril just left don't know what to say so she just smirked and quickly walk away too.

When Cindy finally approached her motorcycle, she immediately wears her gloves, mask, and her helmet.

"Cindy, what is going on?! What did that Ae-ril tell you?!" Sandra worriedly asked.

"Yes and what's with that white envelope you give back to her?"  Eliz is also curious say.

Cindy stop of what she was doing and looked at Sandra.

"I think you guys should go to Aunt restaurant first I will follow you there later. For now, I need to go somewhere first."

"What? B-but!" Sandra still does not understand and wants to know what is going on but Cindy ignored her and wore her helmet and turned on her motorcycle and left in a hurry. Sandra and the others left dumbfounded.

In one abandoned building where Cindy goes, she goes straight into the rooftop of the building. She didn't even notice that Hajoon was also there.

Hajoon was there crying, he took off his shades but he still wearing his mask so that nobody recognizes him if someone comes in the same place as he is.

Hajoon remembered the hurtful scene and words that Ae-ril left said to him that day. He also remembered those memories when they still dating, the happy and sweet memories with her. The times that they are just happy and love each other, but he cants that it was just all fake acting for him to fall into their trap.

At the same time and place, Cindy was also there on the other side of the rooftop. Looking at the sky blankly, she was still wearing her motor mask. While she still stares at the sky again and thinking about what happened that day. She also remembered her first encounter with a woman named Ae-ril and the things that happened in that room. She let out a heavy sigh and suddenly she remember the man that Ae-ril have an arguing conversation with.

She shakes her head a couple of times.

"Cindy Tan stop thinking about it, just forget everything and think that it'll never happen!"

Cindy let out a heavy sigh again and turned around to go back when she accidentally notice the man sitting on the floor opposite her. He is wearing a black cup while bowing her head, she also notices his faint crying even his eyes only that she can see because the man wearing a black mask but it is obvious that the man is crying.

"They already told me to stop getting involved in other people's business. Let's just pretend that I didn't see him."

Cindy continue to walk but was in her way also going to pass by the man. When she already pass by him she stops and thinks again.

"But is not that bad to help and looks like it's not dangerous to just help him right? Right! just this time only also no one will ever know... right?" Cindy just sighs again and takes out her handkerchief on the pocket of her jacket and she walks towards the man who is now still crying secretly while still bowing his head. She handed forward to him the handkerchief, she bent over to him but the man still bowing his head from her.

"Ahem! Excuse me I know it's not my part to get involved but I'm the kind of person who is easily swayed if I see a man crying. Well, I don't even know what your problem is, but it's embarrassing for a man crying although no one here will see you in that situation I'm sure you still need this too at least you have less embarrassment o the girl like that in front of you right?" the man looks like feel embarrassed too he simply and slowly take the handkerchief and Cindy smiled secretly.

"After today please don't cry again because it's just useless, you know all of the people in this world have their problems but you can't solve them with your tears and be carried away to feel stressed it's better if you just focus on thinking positive always. It is okay to cry sometimes to let it out just for a short time but when I see you I think you seem crying for a long time. You should cheer up and find a solution it cants help if you just stay in a place alone and torture yourself because, in the end, you are the one who will suffer. I give that handkerchief so your tears will never back again and I hope it will help you even a little." Cindy stands up and stares at him.

"It's nice to live so don't stay like that there are more things that can make us happy so please cheer up and stay strong!"

Cindy pats his shoulder and says.

"So after today keep living, be more strong, and keep fighting!" After that Cindy already walk away from him. That also the time that Hajoon up his head she looked at Cindy who is now walking away, Cindy looked at him once again and Hajoon stare straight into her eyes and feels that it's smiling at him. He still stared at her even it's only her back that he can see. 

From that day Hajoon remembers that eyes and never forget them because her mother has the same eyes expression when smiling at him lovingly when he's a child.

Now that is the first impression that Cindy left to Hajoon.
