the jerk asked, giving her the shot glass with tequila in it. " It's up to you, I don't like playing, " she said and did not hesitate to accepts it by drinking tequila without a chaser. The people at the table seemed surprised by what she did but she just ignore them, going with the flow. " Oh wow, you don't like playing? By all means, you want to have a serious conversation with me, am I right? " he chuckled, " Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't want a serious relationship right now. Nevertheless, I can make you moan my name in bed 'cause I'm only good at it. "

Tomas: I’m outside, preciosa. My stomach flips again. McKenzy peeks over my shoulder. “He didn’t even text ‘here’ like a normal person. He’s so suave, it’s disgusting.” “It really is,” I agree, grabbing my clutch. She follows me to the kitchen, pouring two quick shots of tequila. “A new pre-dance tradition,” she declares, handing me one. I smirk, clinking my glass against hers. “To making Tomas sweat.” “To making Tomas suffer.”

This felt like a betrayal to her. Logging out of the news she had been reading, and making sure to slide through whatever pop up ad of Darren's downfall that came on her phone, she went back to her original chat and the reason why she and bought a phone in the first place. Searching and the more she did and typed away at her keyboard, the further infuriated her face became. Tequila wasn't yellow in colour and what she had been served was a mineral water mixed with a yellow agave syrup. No wonder it tasted minty when she had drank it the first time.

She waggled her brows at me. "Fucking margaritas," I groaned. "I don't know why I let you talk me into that third round. I have no idea what I said after that much tequila. I probably would've claimed that I had it bad for anyone at that point." "Tequila is like truth serum. Or maybe it's more like an aphrodisiac, where the more you have, the hornier you get." She dropped her head back. "I'll admit that I was all revved up on Friday night, too. After three margaritas and all the talk about how Deacon's eyes burned, or his broad chest, or his long, muscled legs . . . I was so turned on. Lucky I didn't meet any man on my way home."

From the agility she exhibited, she must be in her fifties. ''Two shots of tequila." I had never tasted tequila, but from what I've heard about it, it drives people crazy, making them forget their sorrows. I had tons of them to forget, and now's the best time to try out new habits. "Heartbreak?" She asked, while fixing me the drink. "How did you know?" I trembled with my lips pressed against each other. "You're not gonna be the last, child. I've seen too much for my greying hair to hide. Boys will always be jerks." She scoffed, pushing one of the cups to me without spilling the content.

Amir said and Tequila stood up from her chair then. "I am pretty sure you forgot all about the party," she said as she walked to him. Amir looked sheepish and scratched his neck. "That is not true. You look very pretty Tequila," Amir said to her and she rolled her eyes. "You are also just seeing that. As they say, love is blind," Tequila said and she walked out of the room. "She is not really mad is she?" Tequila heard Amir ask Dream and her sister did not reply. "Let's get going love birds. I can not wait to get married so that I can show you how love is done," Tequila joked and they all laughed.

Liz, her best friend pointed staring at Chloe from where she sat. "What look?" Chloe questioned staying put while the makeup artists did the last finishing touches. "The look every bride has before her wedding. 'Am I doing the right thing? Does he love me?' And to answer your questions like the bestie I am 'Yes you are doing the right thing and yes Tequila loves you so much that it grosses me out everytime I see him stare at you like a freaking meal" "Tequila?" And her soon to be sister in law, Mikaella questioned straightening her dress for the umpteenth time despite how gorgeous she looked with her raised ponytail, defined cheekbones and a figure most men would find swoon worthy.

She cemented his thoughts by shaking her head adorably at the taste of the tequila, her mouth set in a tight line confirming it was the first time she was tasting it and this was not her normal scene which means she was too good for him. "God, what do they put into this stuff dog piss?" She asked staring skeptically at her glass of tequila. He chuckled shocked at the sound of his laughter and even more shocked that it took a woman he hasn't known for more than 5 minutes despite the murderous intent he harbored against his father which involves his fist and maybe a broken nose to produce that sound from him. "Hi." She whispered blatantly checking him out. "A picture would last longer." He coc
