I shook my head with a frown on my face and said, "He is not my husband."
"Mon Dieu," he looked alarmed, took the cup back, and brought a bigger one, placing it in front of me and proceeding to fill it up. "Tequila with fruit flavoring," he winked at me, "works best for bad boyfriends."
I laughed this time, taking hold of it and taking in a mouthful. I winced as it hit my throat.
The bartender laughed, "You take it easy, Mon Cheri; it can loosen you up before you know it."
