Lucian asked. Alieana nodded. “I am a Devil,” Lucian asserted. Alieana widened her eyes upon hearing the statement of Lucian. “W-why are you joking with me?” Alieana questioned Lucian. “Am I?” Lucian muttered and smiled. He gestured to her to get up, which she did. Lucian too stood up from the couch. “Alieana, did you forget what I told you? I kill people too, especially humans. Your blood scent is making me crazy, so let me start my feast,” Lucian with a smirk said. Alieana stepped back while Lucian stepped forward. She was getting nervous when she slipped and fell on the bed.

Lucian had an odd smile on his lips, eyes also curved a little. "That's not a very big problem, is it?" Lucian said. He raised his hands to tidy up the sleeves of his robes and continued, "Just marry me."

And tonight, all that would be tested. Lucian hovered beside him, wings of golden fire extending behind him. His eyes scanned the battlefield with deadly precision. “Kid,” he said, voice calm but tinged with urgency, “he’s different from anything you’ve faced before. Not just powerful—he’s clever. He’s waiting for a weakness.”

Aria bit her lip, holding her breath as the mysterious figure stood between them and Lucian. The moonlight illuminated his face, revealing sharp eyes filled with secrets. Lucian let out a low growl, his gaze burning with fury. "I can't believe you're still alive…" The figure smirked. "Unfortunately for you, I'm still breathing. And it looks like I arrived just in time." Aria struggled to process the situation, her mind still in turmoil. Beside her, Lorian lay severely wounded, blood pouring from the gash in his abdomen. She pressed her hands against the wound, but they trembled.

I did need his help, for what Obadiah could find out was definitely limited. But Lucian was different. Maybe he had special channels to find out more. Besides, his identity was mysterious enough that the mastermind behind the scenes was unaware of his existence. "Lucian drifted to our island a few years ago. When he arrived, he was barely alive. It was Julia who saved him. It seems like he didn't have any family, so he settled down on our island. However, I think Lucian must be a very powerful person.
