Elaine spoke the words down into the glass; the magic seemed to hear her, and as she gave a tug, the lid lifted. The book beneath the glass peered through Elaine. The volumes’ binding was smooth leather, and the stitching was gold. Long, smooth letters were intricately painted across the front, and her hand brushed them softly. It was the most precious book in the world. Reaching down, she pulled it out and flipped to the page she desired. There it was in thick black letters, the word luck. The pages of the book were filled with names and places, a guide to every gifted being in the land. It was centuries old and was only written on by the top magistrate himself, the king’s second in command

She quickly pointed on whatever she could make a conversation out from. Looking at it, he smiled. Walking toward the chair, he took a comfortable seat before calling her in with his hand. “Come.” Belle followed him blindly only for her to feel him pulling her in to sit on his laps. He wrapped his hand around her waist, slowly opening the book before her. Belle who was first flustered was surprised when she saw a beautiful illustration on the first page of the book. “This is…?” “It’s a famous story. About a witch and a demon,” Leon’s long finger slowly caressed the drawing. “It’s a very famous story in Hell and a comfort story for me”

She had to try because Sabrebite and every other pack depended on it. She knew she had the Book of Magic on her bookshelf at home; it was a book she always thought was a fairytale. She never dreamt it could be real until she got a glimpse of Naomi’s magic and everything it could do. She was in awe of how real it actually was.

The rest of the page was blank There was nothing about their gifts and nothing in this book helped with unblocking Kris. The last book was the orange one and it was completely blank not a single letter was found in the book. I shook my head, even magic played games with me. I sat the orange book down thinking about going on a search of my own to see if this place was holding back on me when my eyes caught the giant red book in the middle of the table I didn't even hear it land on the table.

Her tail fin is very wide and grey colored. "Little siren, let's continue alright? You can beat me later" Andre suggested. The book vanished from Andre's hands and appeared at Annabelle's. "The language is ancient too but I can understand the first page. It reads: 'The life of a fairy- magic level and spells' " "That's all?" Andre asked in disbelief. "Yup! It wasn't easy for me to discern this first page. As for the rest, I can't." Annabelle shrugged and closed the book.

Next to her was a plate that used to have a pile of sandwiches on it, most of which had migrated into my stomach. “Yes, I want to learn magic. Are there any books that tell you how?” So far I hadn’t found anything other than bad novels and some out of date almanacs. Something along the lines of Magic For Dummies would have been ideal, but I hadn’t come across anything even close to that. “No, of course there aren’t,” she said. “How would a book be able to teach you something like that? You either can do magic or you can’t.” I flicked through a book called Out In The Field, which turned out to be a guide to planting crops at different times of the year, and placed it back on the shelf.

I could only hope that Aradia wasn’t around spying on us because everything that happened made me understand that she was good at doing that. “About that the Elder of Crescent Moon pack told me the same thing you just said and I was going to call you to come here and assist her on the day she does the spells. Where did you get your information from anyway?” I asked her. “The book of knowledge about spells and magic,” She answered. Oh, so there was also a book of knowledge aside from the book Of spells? Wow. “So what’s the good news you have for me?” Maggie giddily asked me.

It was hand written. She went on, flipping the book and stopping to read through some parts of it. It was a book about spells and she found herself laughing at the silliness of the thought that magic was still in existence. Some of the spells in the book made Matilda to shake her head and conclude that the book had been written during the time that witches existed. Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.
