Stanley’s P.O.V I stood still in the middle of the big master suite, my fingers tightening the knot of my tie as I stared at my reflection. The mirror in my bedroom reflected a strong, immovable man but was I really that man? I didn't sleep well last night. Every time I closed my eyes, my mind became a chaotic warzone, haunted by the devastating memory of the hospital kiss. I could still feel Amy’s soft lips against mine, still taste the salt of her tears mixed with the smudged red cherry lipstick that had entirely demolished my self-control.

The man, consumed by rage, sprinted towards Jacob, screaming at the top of his lungs. “Come on!” Jacob roared. It really sounded like an order and Mani had to obey her words. He then went to his father and gave him a tight hug saying "how are you papa."
