"No prob. That reminds me where are your friends?" Seriously I've totally forget about them. But sha who cares? Everyone should live his own life mana. I shrugged and went to the bathroom and stared at the girl before me. I look like a mess with my mascara tear stained face. I quickly wiped my face with wipes and took the keys, my bag and went out then drove off to Champ Elyees. The only place I know in Paris. For now. I ordered my hot chocolate with double whipped cream and cheese bread and scrolled down through Instagram. There have been many likes and comments in the picture I posted an hour ago. "Assalam." A female voice said and I looked up at a semi-fair girl and I replied.

"But I won't spoil it by telling you just yet. You'll have to wait and see." A thrill ran through me, and I couldn't help but giggle with excitement. "You're such a tease, Angel," I said, playfully nudging him. "I can't wait to see this surprise of yours." Angel chuckled, his voice filled with affection. "I promise you,” My mind raced with images of strolling along the Seine River, admiring the Eiffel Tower, and indulging in delicious French pastries. Paris had always held a special place in my dreams, and now, thanks to Angel, it was becoming a reality.

I flip through the magazine in the seat pocket, scroll aimlessly on my phone until there’s no signal, and then just watch him from time to time, It’s unsettling. When we finally descend, I press my face slightly toward the window. And then I see it. The city. Elegant rooftops. The curve of a river cutting through it. Landmarks I’ve only ever seen in pictures. My breath catches. “No way…” I whisper. The wheels touch down smoothly. PARIS. Like actual Paris. The land of lovers. The city of lights. The city people fly across the world for honeymoons and proposals and once-in-a-lifetime romance.

She pulls out her phone and calls Mia, her best friend’s familiar voice cutting through the hum of the Paris streets. “Sienna! Finally! I thought you forgot about me,” Mia exclaims, her tone equal parts teasing and exasperated. “Now spill. What’s it like? Is it everything we imagined?” Sienna can’t help but smile. “Better. Paris is… breathtaking. The academy’s incredible, and the croissants? I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten enough butter to keep a dairy farm in business.” Mia’s delighted squeal makes her laugh. “Ugh, you’re killing me. I’m so jealous I could cry. You know I’ve been obsessed with Paris forever. You’re living my dream, Si. One day, I’m coming with you—mark my words.”
