I had never thought that King Iram still cherished his former betrothed. I discovered so many things about him as I stayed in this pack. There was this rumor that started from the chambermaids. It was said that the Alpha King is ill. He was cursed by the Moon Goddess and his only cure is a human mate. But many told different stories. Some claimed that the former luna fooled the king into making him believe that she was an actual mate, but not. And some say she disguised herself as a werewolf and made everyone in Prima Tierra believe in all her lies.

Another day of struggle to not walk towards his chambers and throw myself in his arms and get myself killed. I could feel the wind blowing violently when I reached the mansion’s infirmary. While I was concerned about how I would reach home if the storm continued till the evening, the creatures were stressed for a whole different reason. It was the very day when Alpha King, Theodore Black, got cursed by the Moon Goddess herself. It was marked as the black day for the kingdom. Alpha King hunted more people and more wolves than usual. The infirmary is usually full on this day every year, considering how enraged Alpha King gets on this day. As if he is not in his control.
