“My boss is pretty strict. He might not let me have the night off.” Dominic raised an eyebrow, clearly catching on to her teasing. “Oh yeah? This boss of yours sounds like a real hardass. I might have to stage a daring rescue. Wouldn’t want you working double shifts when you could be out with me.”

I quickly fixed my face before he noticed my expression. “Yeah, Alpha Dominic's,” I answered. “Must be tough for you, eh?
