My Personal Account Was Disabled Novels & Stories

A moisturizer to sooth my face with a light shade of red lipstick. I took my bag and I was finally ready for my first day of the college. WOW ( note the sarcasm). I dragged myself towards June's room, oh by the way I am living with her and she owns this fabulous apartment as she got out of the orphanage earlier then me for we had a three years gap. She works for the Big Hit Entertainment as a Group organizer in foreign relations. I woke her up by pulling off her blanket which I know for sure she hates but I live for this shit!! (hehehe).

When I jerked back to consciousness, I picked up my phone, believing a lot of notifications would have come in, and true, a lot of them came in. But they weren't the type of notifications I was hoping for. The social media I posted about this, has banned my personal account for reasons I couldn't quite point to. This would be my second account they'd ban for the day. I would never be in this position if it wasn't for Skylar.

“Me either…” The other journalists tried to search for Peach Media’s page but could not find anything. Peach Media was purged from the social media platform without leaving any breadcrumbs behind. “No! Impossible! Impossible!” The man’s body shook as he called the account manager in Mega Dance, asking for help. “Hey, I can’t find my account. What is going on?” The man from the other side of the phone said, “I was about to call you. Your page Peach Media, has been permanently banned from the platform. Mr. Anderson called for the ban himself.”

Sandra's Pov "Account Permanently Disabled Due to Suspicious Fraudulent Activity." The red letters on a white screen stared back in my face. I read it in disbelief, rereading like the words might change into something else that made sense if I just looked hard enough. But it didn't. I tried again with shaky hands but same words stared back at my face. I clicked recover account, my hands were moving faster than my brain now, clicking, refreshing, typing my password wrong twice because my fingers wouldn't cooperate with what my eyes were seeing. But nothing worked.

So I rebooted my phone. The phone booted up soon and I checked it was still the same thing, half a million was gone from my account. I was confused and really tensed so I took a cup of coffee and sat back at my office. What could be going on? Only, Desmond and Tasha have access to the accounts. Tasha wouldn't dare withdraw such an amount from my account even if she had the chance. She might be rude and stubborn but she isn't that stupid, or was it Desmond he did ask me for money last week maybe he needs more.

Another rejection appeared instantly. “What the hell?” I muttered. I clicked on the help chat and typed out a message. “Hi, I think there’s a problem with my account. My applications are being automatically declined.” The support agent replied a few minutes later. “Hello Clarissa, your account has been temporarily restricted due to a report filed under the Devereux Legal Group. We recommend contacting them for clarification. I sat back, staring at the message. My heart sank. Nicho. Of course it was him.

Alyosha turned off the sound and continued to beat the unfortunate keyboard with his finger. This alerted me, as did my brother's gaze, and I went up to him. The bank's page glimmered succinctly on the screen, offering standard services for private and business customers. Alyosha had access to all the accounts that passed to me after Angelov's death, and which were opened just in this bank, only access to his personal account to manage them was blocked. There could be only one reason for this: the accounts were inactive, that is, simply "frozen".

I sank into the chair opposite her, a stern woman with glasses perched low, her fingers tapping a keyboard with mechanical precision. “What’s wrong with my account?” I asked, my voice raw, my hands gripping the armrests until my knuckles whitened. “I haven’t been able to access it for a week. And I’m in desperate need of cash—now.” She frowned, her eyes flicking to the screen, then back to me, pity softening her sternness. “I’m sorry, Mr. Caldwell, but you’re no longer authorized on this account. The ownership of this account was transferred last week, you authorized it.”

“This one is also declined, Ma’am. The system is showing a ‘Total Asset Freeze.’” My blood went cold. I didn’t wait for her to offer a third attempt. I grabbed my bag and walked out, my heart hammering against my ribs. I pulled out my phone, my fingers fumbling as I opened my banking app. Balance: $0.00 (Account Restricted) “No,” I whispered, leaning against the cold stone of a pillar. “No, no, no.” I hit Marcus’s speed dial before I even reached the car. “Marcus, tell me I’m glitching. My accounts are dead. All of them.”

“Did you find anything?” “Yes, and who the hell is this person? His inbox is full of some strange stuff. That’s why I couldn’t stop myself and called you.” Then she whispers. “Is he some drug lord or what?“ “Wh- what? You hacked the account? But I thought it was disabled.” Her words felt like an overload of information. “Yes I got in. It has been disabled and enabled a few times. Right now it’s enabled.” My heart was beating fast. That was the first time I heard anything about him after two years.
