Myth Ragnarok Novels & Stories

Ragnar declared in his husky voice, his frigid gaze piercing through George as he continued to scream and scream. "Please, Alpha, forgive me!" George's screams echoed through the dungeon, but Ragnar remained unyielding. He allowed his foot to slice through George's finger before finally removing it, causing a torrent of blood to spurt forth. Even as he beheld the gruesome sight, Ragnar's burning desire for vengeance threatened to consume him. George had hurt his mate, manipulated her against him, and for that, Ragnar yearned to end him. However, one thing stayed his hand—Aloha's act of offering him blood. It was a testament that she still cared.

The next day, Ragnar gets a visit from a prophet who said she's been sent by the Moon goddess to deliver something of urgent importance. Great suffering would fall over his pack soon, and the only way he could be saved was if he reunited with someone she called, 'The saviour' who will help him accomplish this. He needs to find whoever is this person was before disaster struck, but Ragnar was feeling a bit too proud to look for anyone, believing he needs no one help. The night of the full moon fast approached and Astrid was going to be brought to the chopping block and slain before everyone. The day before the full moon, a dark fog filled the land and by night time, two wolves were found murd

And besides, there hadn’t been time. “Do you know how many gods died in Ragnarök? One hundred and thirty million. Of those, fewer than seven thousand were reborn. And you—you are one of the twelve chief gods among those six thousand. Regardless of whether your power has returned, treating yourself like this—working yourself to death—amounts to nothing.”

Galindra stood up and clutched back the child to her bosom. 'There's still something you didn't know. An imminent threat in the East,' Galindra said. 'Threat?' 'King Salamar of the Kingdom of Esperia is raising an army, a great one this world has ever seen. With the help of Esper, a sorcerer who conjures dark magic, she might have bewitched the king. I am very much certain this has something to do with the prophecy, I am telling you.' 'Another sorcerer? One of your kind. Folly.' Melario smirked. 'The age of magic had passed already, and if there's any truth in what you were saying, then I shouldn't believe you more. Enough with this stupidity,' the king shoved his head.

I couldn’t tell if he was reading my outermost thoughts, my emotions, or trying to appeal to my sense of responsibility, but I recited nursery rhymes over and over to create a barrier in my mind. “Cathwulf,” he said with a tight smile. “You’re not like the other residents of the Punishment Pits. Why would you ally with a supernatural criminal destined to destroy the world?” “You’re bluffing,” I said. Hades brought his glass to his lips and took a long sip of his drink. “Queen Hel once testified that Fenrisúlfr and his father brought about Ragnarök. Don’t corrupt your soul out of a futile sense of wolf loyalty.”

"Or I'll kill you, you coward!" A magical hum filled the air. The same magic that killed the dragon began to affect the attacker. As Ragnar chased the monster, fire flew from his head. They died, but soon. My head exploded. The body was not separated. Blood and nauseating fluids spilled onto the living carpet. But their attackers came with an unstoppable tide of hunger and foreign hatred. Despair threatened to overtake Ragnar. What happened to the fight? Can't we just lay down and die? He refused to give up. Shouting anger and hatred, he marched towards the horde of monsters and slashed left and right with his sword. Some stopped to attack him, and many others crossed to catch up with their

I’m surprised she doesn’t ask for brand, style, and inventory number of the tabs. “Our pack is so obsessed with the story of our origins, we ignore the story of our ending.” She opens one of the books and it lays flat, pages perilously close to falling out. There’s a woodcut illustration of Fenrir devouring Odin. “Ragnarök.” Tara braces her hands on the table on either side of the book. “It’s not an end, so much as a renewal. But for the gods, it’s very much an end.” “I don’t like the sound of that,” I say, dread piercing my heart. “You know, since they’re using Nathan and I as avatars for gods in their little plan.”

Children's voices answered them from the deep darkness of the well. Ragnar and Lathgertha then began to search for a way to bring the children up from this gaping hole. While they were busy looking everywhere for tools or items that could help, Ragnar continuing to ask questions, learned from Lathgertha that she had been in Jötunheimar for almost twelve moons already. She had traveled with two of her sisters and a convoy of merchants riding horses who had all served as game for the giants after they unknowingly passed through one of Loki's portals.

Tamara had deciphered that much, that the part of the rock was designed to crumble. She had looked up this Surt and figured Norse mythology was the best way to go. He was one of those that were to start the end of the world. After Ragnarok, which what she was seeing made sense in the dreams now, the sea serpent and the woman with the dead. They were all figures in the mythology of Ragnarok, especially the wolf. Him breaking free of his chains would start the end. He would kill Odin and several other gods before dying himself.

He must finish the old king before the old king finished him. “It’s because he made a deal with a very powerful witch,” Ragnar replied. He had decided to take a chance with Cory. But he wouldn’t tell Cory about the Moon Goddess’s relic. It was just too dangerous to let someone like Cory know the Moon Goddess’s relic really existed. “He offered the life of his first son to the witch in exchange for overwhelming power and living forever. You must have noticed. He has become an old man, but his power hasn’t faded at all. Guess the witch has lost her patience,” Ragnar said, “She must have given him the ultimatum and asked him to kill me as soon as possible.”
