Thor raged, lightning escaping the orifices of his body like a fast-flowing stream. In rage he struck out, his fist hurtling towards Sango who eagerly lifted his machete to block the attack with a cynical smile on his face. However, when that punch landed on his machete, the African god’s smile faded, and pain replaced it. *BOOM* The one who was nicknamed the god of retribution, and the strongest god of his heaven was forced backwards, his arms trembling like they had been struck by a large truck. His machete was fine even after being struck by those lightning bolts, but the hands that held them were charred black.

“And if it isn’t… it will be.” Danial screamed again as another bolt missed him by inches, sending sparks dancing through his aura. He stumbled forward, muttering every curse word he knew under his breath, while his lightning faintly pulsed — alive, growing, adapting. Far away, the world spoke his name with awe and reverence — “The Lightning Phantom…” Unaware that their supposed divine prodigy was currently running barefoot across scorched sands, half on fire and half discovering his power, while Raiden — the so-called Goddess of War — laughed hard enough to make even the storms kneel, her laughter echoing across the island like divine thunder.

She had also called upon the Divine lightning, but unlike Blake when he had to face it alone, she had him who was prepared. Hana and Daniel looked at the lightning descending from the sky with horror; they had never seen such a sight in all their lives witnessing the Heavenly Tribulations in the Inner World. Once someone had created their Devine Sea, the tribulation would end. What was this last golden lightning in the form of a dragon? They had never witnessed. Hana was resolute to ask the Elders of her Sect. “What is he planning on doing? Is he crazy? That gold lightning is ten times more powerful than the last.” Hana asked, seeing Blake fly up and meet with the lightning.

Thorin grinned, he loved the battle sensation he was getting and he vowed to beat Rogue into the ground before subduing him; after all his brother would be livid if he killed the only person with power to kill an omnipotent being. “ROAR OF THE WILD DRAGON GOD RAIJIN” Thorin opened his mouth and discharged gigantic, concentrated bolts of lightning which ionized the air to replicate and become myriad in quantity and all rushing to Rogue.. It was a Trial of Lightning!" Matteo immediately grabbed his phone and checked the news. To his astonishment, I was right. There had been no earthquake at all. Lightning had simply struck our building. As he stared at me in stunned silence, I leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I'm not scared of some curse or bad luck, honey. In fact, with a sorceress around..." I smiled. "I guarantee you're going to be the luckiest man on this planet."

He took his drink and gulped down the whole thing for lack of anything to do. A crazy grin graced Lightning's features when she saw how her stalker was trembling. You must really be tasty, she purred moving in closer, obliterating the remaining space between them that she was almost on his laps, and so decided to go all the way. She crossed her leg over his straddling him. She took the empty glass from his hand and dropped it on the side table beside them along with hers before turning to look into his eyes, her eyes burning with the need she had kept at bay after her kill.

Her nose bled as she used up the last of her powers. Suddenly lightning flashed. A flash of light dropped from the sky. Goyre suddenly screamed as one of her spikes charged with lightning suddenly backtracked and struck her heart. A loud cry tore from her lips as blood poured from her mouth. As the storm cleared she looked into the eyes of a foreign god whose eyes blazed and flashed like lightning. “Who are you?” she choked out. “Nukis, son of Robos. I am here to take my niece home.” Suddenly the sound of flapping wings filled the air. Nukis looked up and found a pale dragon coming to rest beside Phoenix who laid unconscious against Basten. “Why are you trying to avoid killing me?” Upon processing Tamashi’s question, Rai reacted with a shocked look. “Your face says it all, Rai. Considering you’re supposed to be some sort of big-shot god of lightning, you have a really readable face. Rai converted his shock into a wave of anger. “Who… do you think… you are?! DON’T YOU DARE MOCK THE SEISHIN OF LIGHTNING!” Lighting formed around Rai’s body as his hair began to float. He shifted back his right fist.

We stood locked, eye to eye, teeth gritted, muscles straining. Then, through the clash of steel and storm, he hissed, “Who are you?” I met his stare and grinned, despite the blood on my lips. “Don’t you remember?” I whispered. “I’m Zevarion, the god of lightning.” At that moment. A jagged bolt of lightning split the sky and struck between us with a blinding flash. The sheer force sent Xareth hurtling across the courtyard, his body crashing into the stone with a sickening thud. He coughed, blood staining his lips.

Naya was on the ground, Dani and Rune beside her, fighting off four wolves. My mind hollowed out, and I let myself go. I pulled the invisible thread from the ground into me, through me. I shot my power into the sky, channeling a giant blast up, up, up until lightning came down from the sky. A massive purple streak erupted in the middle of the fighting, with several smaller ones splintering onto the ground. Fire appeared where the lightning had stuck. The flames grew and spread across the field, encircling the battle and in between fights.
