A Dog’s Tale I remember being born, that may seem a strange concept to humans but it isn’t really for Dogs. I remember being snuggled and warm then suddenly being pushed out into a very bright light. It wasn’t pleasant, and I was afraid but then a warm wet tongue began to clean me and a soft voice spoke welcoming me to this strange bright world and pushing me to a teat full of her delicious milk. Everything was blurry and muffled but I felt safe listening to the steady beat of my Mother’s heart through her soft flank. Those first few days were strange, I did very little except eat and sleep but I was aware of ‘something.’ I did not know what it was but I knew it was waiting for me.

Right when the thought appeared in his head, a stray dog came to him, wagging his fluffy tail. Noah, a great lover of everything furry, was naturally very overjoyed and gave the doggie a very enthusiastic petting. After that, Noah, this small person in this vast world, was no longer alone. He now had a sticky companion that made the journey so much better. They were like Sherlock and Watson! Crusoe and Friday! Frodo and Sam! In short, they were running around very happily together. Everything was great! It was just that this doggie had a really embarrassing habit. He loved to stick his snout where it didn’t belong. "Good morning Doctor, I'm Ivan, and this is my dog Neo." "Good morning, Hi Neo, how are you today, boy?" I reach for the beagle dog and pet him for a while. "So, based on the chat, you briefly explain to Ivan that Neo, your dog, rarely wants to walk outside, rarely wants to eat, and loves to stay in the corner of your room all day. Is that true?" Ivan gives me a sad smile, "Yes, Doctor, Neo was a stray dog before I got him into adoption, and the adoption center for dogs officer told me once that Neo is also an abused dog."

A shape emerged from the shadows, and her breath caught in her throat. It was a dog. No—not just a dog. The biggest dog she'd ever seen. Easily the size of a small bear, with thick black fur and muscles that rippled under its coat as it stalked toward her. Its eyes glowed amber in the moonlight, fixed on her with an intensity that made her stomach flip.

Given the unique nature of his work, he had chosen not to live as a member of the pack, opting instead for a residence in a high–rise building in the heart of the city. By Monday, he hoped to regain his usual composure: The doe–eyed female who had occupied his thoughts would have left his mind completely. Or so he thought. Drained from a week of activities, Axel pulled into his driveway. The sound of a whimpering dog reached his ears, and a puppy, about three weeks old, walked by. Spotting Axel, it sat wagging its tail. Axel stared at the dog, wondering where it came from. He had never seen a dog like that on that street, and there was no one in sight either.

“No.” He poured it anyway, a delicate, almost ceremonial gesture, then began like he’d been rehearsing the story his whole life. "There was once a girl," he said, "born with blood in her mouth. Third Person’s POV When Terban entered the boarding house, he was shocked to see a dog wagging its tails in front of him. Spoiler alert, Terban is afraid of dogs. “Arfa rf!” “What the hell!” Terban shouted, hugging the door and moving backward away from a small, cute and friendly Bichon Frise Dog.
